My ‘05 has been starting like a slug the last few times. I’m thinking my nearly new X2 27F is a dud. :(

I was just gonna use a single 5.56 for efficiency.

Got your package yesterday. GPU is arriving today. I probably won't get to it this weekend as we have to shut down this weekend. We did our 40 mon-thurs as usual, prepped yesterday for 12 hours, 12 hours today, and we work till we finish tomorrow. I normally have a crew of 8. I had 25 yesterday, should have 32 today and tomorrow. Organized chaos.

Saturday check in. No alcohol at all last week. I’m down just 1lb. I have been spending around 30 minutes every night after work shooting hoops so I could be building up muscle tone (because I don’t do physical labor at work nor go to a gym) which would explain the slowing down of weight loss. Either way, nothing negative to report. All is good :D

Not yet. It’s on my list. I don’t do much tv watching right now because that was part of my evening habit, pour drinks and watch tv

Hell yeah. @The Black Mamba you need to start funneling the money you WOULD have spend on 5ths/handles into a slush fund at the same frequency you'd have bought bottles. Not only will it help you realize how much money you're wasting poisoning your body, but ... after 6 months, if you put that $$ into a CD for 12-18 months at 5-6%, I expect you'll have a grand or two on your hands to put into the truck (or whatever else you want, except two chicks at the same time, b/c I don't think that's enough $$ for two chicks at the same time, Lawrence).

Cool. Mind the note I dropped inside RE: notches. If I were to make any recommendation, I would ...

Install the NVMe, pinch it down proper with the set screw, it installs at an angle just like some RAM. Boot, and make sure it's recognized by Windows. I formatted it to straight NTFS. If recognized OK, as it should be, and you want to keep your files/data ...

Get a cloning tool like Acronis. I should've probably send an Acronis boot disk over. Ping me, I can give you a copy of an ISO you can burn to disk if you have a CD/DVD drive. I can also slap a copy on a bootable thumb drive and ship it to you. Use that tool to clone your 2.5" SSD into the new NVMe. Set Acronis to shut down after completing the clone. With computer off, unplug the power/data cables to your old 2.5" SSD, and boot from the new NVMe. The computer will probably boot 50% faster on the NVMe, probably better. I'd label and keep your old SSD "just in case", if that data is important.

Weight loss is wild. Next week you may drop like 7lbs, then not lose any for 2 weeks.

It sounds simple but what you eat makes a big difference. Calorie wise you can eat the same amount of protein or carbs but the carbs will help retain water so it skews things. It's part of the reason why when someone switches to a keto diet they drop weight quick, paired with protein/fat helping you feel more full.

Just remember you didn't put the weight on in 2 months so don't beat yourself up if you don't lose it quick.

Ospho and a small wire bristled brush will remove 100% of that rust with very little elbow grease...and i don’t just mean cover the rust, but it WILL remove it if you use a brush (brass or stainless would probably be best). You can buy Ospho in a quart or gallon size and it’s fairly inexpensive.

Both it and Naval Jelly are phosphoric acid, IIRC. I prefer Naval Jelly only because it's in a gel format so it sticks onto the part, OSPHO is more liquid in comparison. Both are great products though. He has a bottle of Naval Jelly, noticed it in one of the pics.

I've used navel jelly and other phosphoric acids before. What i do like about the ospho is that it IS watery runny, so it will seep into the cracks and seams. I think most users just simply put a coating of acid on their rust and expect it to last a lifetime. There's still going to be active rust under the rust that did get treated with any pho acid. I go the extra mile by doing my absolute best to remove all the rust by scrubbing with ospho until it's gone gone.
