Would be fun for sure. I remember driving the N/A police interceptor spec Crown Vic on the driving course in the academy. Talk about a good time. I can only imagine boost making the smiles per gallon even wider.

 

Interceptor motors had an extra 10hp and 40ft/lb of torque I believe. Probably geared better too.

 

104 miles on 3/4 tank! Something isnt right.

 

i've seen probably a dozen cracked plastic intake manifolds.

 

Just filled up yesterday, that cold weather... and warming her up costs money. 134 miles

 

What cold weather? Its been gorgeous here.

Depends on what capability you want. Some Lowe end tools only give you the ability to read and clear codes. Some will scan and report live data. Some will allow two way communication to adjust parameters on the vehicle.

 

I'd check if these can read ABS codes, that would be one reason to look at a more expensive one. You can make the ABS light blink codes with a jumper wire if you just want to get a a basic OBD-II reader though.
