I think it was Dad who originally told me that when I was a teenager. "Son, never stick your dick in crazy... it never ends well."

I've been warning friends, unsuccessfully in many cases, ever since. Sometimes the urge to get your carrot wet when you're really thirsty is too much, and I've watched it wreck a number of bros over the years.

I assume they just slide the skin back over the appendage and stitch or staple it back together at the tear?
I mean, if you're confident in your sexuality, it's also a great place to go for a morale boost, with the side benefit of catching the ear of said women. Had friends all over the spectrum when I lived in Gainesville, and in a couple of circles University Club was a regular hangout. I'd go so far as to say, it was fun to tag along with them. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I never swung that way, and I also don't give a damn what people do behind closed doors as long as it's consenting adults. Not my place to judge anyone, I've got my own shortcomings.

IME, there's no reason to be, honestly, totally baseless. Never had so much as an awkward stare.

However, I can see if you walked in and you were paranoid about something like that, your imagination may get the best of you. Or people may stare at you, but it's because you're acting like a f'ing weirdo, not because they're interested.

Yeah, but let's be real, you can encounter that at any public restroom, anywhere in the world really. Seems pretty common in big city life. Happened to me twice during my couple decades in ATL, once at Piedmont Park, and another time at a concert north of town, the Verizon Ampitheater. Happened all of nonce at any non-straight club I went to. Happened plenty of times in regular clubs though, dudes dragging chicks off into a stall. Not saying it doesn't happen everywhere, I'm sure it does. That's just one place I never encoutered it (yet ... but I don't go out to any clubs anymore)

Ran into it several times when I lived in the Annex of the girls dorm at GT with 9 other guys. Apparently two of the dorm mates roomed together were intimate.

Honestly... this Glory Hole at the gay bar hysteria is pointless.

Allow me to quote Creed Bratton of The Offive: "In the sixties I made love, to many, many women, sometimes in the mud. A guy could've slipped in there, somewhere. There would be no way of knowing for sure."

If there's one thing in life I've learned it's almost always the people who speak out the loudest, pointing fingers, accusing and condemning others, who are actually engaging in the behavior they're condemning. It's a psychological thing. They try to disassociate from their own behavior and/or suspicions they may be part of that crowd by speaking out against it. Usually rooted in embarassment. The louder they're hollering about it, the more seriously they're engaged in it. And I think a lot of them are just too stupid to understand any intelligent person sees thru their bullshit ... or if they're supporting you and your stance, it's likely because they're not far from your camp, or standing squarely in it.

But hey, I'll step off my life-experience soapbox. You see something enough, it stops being a coincidence and starts becoming pattern behavior. :bananadance:

Actually lengthy surgery by hand surgeon or plastic surgeon requiring micro vascular technique to reattach digital arteries and veins running along sides of finger. Also have to approximate digital nerves in hopes that axons regenerate correctly to restore function.

another single guy here...i prefer to pass on the ladies and spend my time, trouble, and money on 4x4 projects and dirtbikes. I much rather buy a replacement aluminum radiator or a new rear knobby tire for my dirtbike, than waste my time chasing tail.

That being said, kill two birds with one stone. If you want to get into shape AND possibly talk to a gal, maybe get a gym membership? Though a gym isn’t really an ideal place to meet women. You can get labeled a creeper REALLY fast. I think the only reason i can get away with talking to ladies at the gym is because i work my butt off lifting weights for hours at a time, so they know i’m not there to chase tail. Every now and then i’ll complement a gal if she’s obviously lifting heavy for her body type. I also love nike Air Jordans and the older Air Max line. So if a gal is wearing a pair of those kicks, i’ll complement her on her choice of shoes. Each and every time they reply with a thank you and a smile. Then i walk away and go back to a weight machine that’s usually on the other side of the gym. I keep the conversation super short, like less than 10 seconds. If they want to continue chatting, then that’s fine, but i go to the gym and workout for me, and me alone. I’m not there to chat with the fairer sex.

Oh, and you want to talk to the gals at the gym, that means you have to put in the time to talk to dudes as well. That way you’re not known as the guy who only talks to the gals. And it’s pretty easy to strike up a short conversation with a guy at the gym. Simply ask about how to use a particular weight machine. That’s how i got to know lots of people at my gym.

Without a doubt, the safest and easiest place in the gym to talk to women is at a spin class. Just start showing up at a spin class with consistency and give 100% at the class. Just don’t sit in the back row. Sitting in the front of second row will show them you have confidence. No matter if you’re thick or thin, young or old they will notice a dedicated man working hard. Women like that sort of thing. If all that doesn’t work, then wear a different wedding ring on each of your 10 fingers. You’ll be whipping them up in a frenzy with that slick trick.

After all that advice, i’d still rather be working in my shop on vehicle projects than hanging out with a chick.

If there’s enough to work with, they can perform a simple outpatient penile skin graft surgery...but that’s usually reserved for regloving a pinky finger.

Yeah I'm not much for talking to people. I'm way more interested in trucks.
But if a ring is all it takes to get the fairer sex interested, once I get in shape, it's worth a shot. They say you'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I can be an asshole, but not the kind of asshole that women go for haha. I've actually had better luck letting women seek me out a handful of times than the other way around. Weird as that may be.

Anyone ever put ground up corn flakes on their baked fish? The chef at my work told me that’s what they do to make a tasteful topping.

All I’ve been doing is a mix of bread crumbs and grated Romano cheese. I’ll see how it is with the corn flakes tonight.

Ouch. Just looked at the autopsy. Page 4 is pretty rough, especially the part about the height of the body. "Does not reflect the actual height".

The best way to meet women is to hang out with other women and don't be a fucking creep. Treat them well and talk to them like a normal person, no pick up lines, no bullshit eyeballing, just conversation.

I had a couple of buddies back in my teens and twenties who couldn't get this one thing through their head. Then they blamed the women who rejected them as if the women were the problem. They'd get so frustrated with me and the boys who saw more success in that realm, but didn't have time to take constructive feedback on where they were missing the boat. The other big issue was the inability to vacate "expectation" (or maybe entitlement?), like, this uncanny sense that somehow they deserved a relationship, but failing to realize it's a two-way street where both need to put work into it?

I guess it's what they call "incels" these days. I'm pretty sure all of them eventually settled down. Some married multiple times now. But most aren't happy.

Relationships are hard. Putting yourself out there is hard. It took me forever to find someone who actually "gets it", whose idiosyncracies meshed up with mine, who doesn't give me hell for doing what I like, and who I'm willing to bail on stuff sometimes for sake of relationship stuff. As I was rolling into my 30s, I really didn't expect to find anyone at the rate things were going, especially coming out of three miserably failed relationships. But it happens, it's out there.

My best advice is, if you want to find someone you'll jibe with, make a point of going out and doing what you love to do and meet people through that. Whether that be running marathons, "maker" events, riding things with two wheels, whatever. You'll eventually cross paths with someone that shares your mindset and can be a partner in crime. And probably meet some solid brosephs in the process.

But yeah. For whatever reason, I never get hit on now I'm minus wedding band. But then again, my goatee is grey af and I drive a ~20yr old truck with mismatched cap and gold wheels. It's probably the grey hair, right?

In my military days I responded to and investigated multiple aircraft mishaps. Helicopters are slow and relatively low energy mishaps. Fighters flying 540 kits, on the other hand, often have impacts >350G and fragmentation of the pilot.
