Your better than that, do it yourself! Also I don’t know about Spc, but total chaos has little like channels for the grease to travel down when you pump it in, but you also have to completely relieve torque on that thru bolt or you can blow out bushings lickidy split, then retorqe everything back down.

    EL beat me to it

Here are links for the two I was planning on. I would like camburgs but after discussing it with @Darkness. Rust would be a major factor in that. Protected UBJ is next best such as these.

I don't know if any of these pictures are good enough for your alls inspection.

From my inspection it looks like the inside of the bushings where the metal sleeves go are "knurled"

the leafs (obviously) all the parts to rebuild my 02 rear axle shafts since the 02 is getting the 01s axle shafts (they have new backing plates and bearings, no point in cutting up those backing plates, theyre expensive)
brake lines, got the front calipers going to powder coat very shortly after i machine the face of them flat. used rear calipers are on their way to powdercoat and rebuild.

and the machine shop is going to be doing my other 3.4l heads hopefully the end of this week so i can throw that engine and trans in the 01 and maybe drive it for the first time in 5 years (even though thats temporary)

the big boy engine will be next step to get onto the frame along with the transmission, and a new gas tanks coming shortly. she'll be just about ready to roll under the truck w/e i have all the body work done

honestly my total chaos uppers lasted 6 winters before they got super sloppy on the taco. I'm running the camburgs uniballs till theyre done, then its getting Icon delta joints installed. (they make adapters to make them work on 1st gen tacos and tundras)

@Tundra2 those bushings do not look like they'd be grease able

This will require thinking, and investigating.

I just want to to keep the lift, and also get an alignment again. I like my tires...

I'm figuring that since i will be doing a full LCA overhaul I would do the UCA at the same time.

camburgs got me the specs i wanted. (2.7 degrees of castor). but the uppers not adjustable like the SPC arms. they're a fixed position, but with greater castor than stock.
SPC will give you more adjustment ultimately.

no. thats just a lack of proper grammer. its getting a stock tank with a gas sock in it (to attempt to remove the risk of air in the fuel under hard acceleration... because race truck)

call up icon. they have them for the 1st gen tacomas. which use the same upper ball joint design. its a adapter that goes on the spindle to let the delta joint attach to it. the uniballs should just be standard 1" uniballs on the TC arms

id call em up and see if they want a test mule for the 1st gen tundras. opens up more business for them.. i know when mine start to squeak, im going delta joint. The 01 has uniballs too.. but had i known delta joints would become a thing, I would of put them on.

That’s the plan first thing in the am. I was warned about uniballs but it’s more annoying than I though. The dj’s are a better design.

I’ve honestly never had them squeak. I’ve battled bushings squeaking more than anything

the trick for me has been not maintaining them!

The bushings squeak even though I grease them every oil change. One of the zerks is cracked so that doesn’t help. The uniballs get squeaky after every trip. Must be the damn Cali dust. I power wash and lube them after every trip. Im over it.

It does seem to be a west coast thing. If you saw how destroyed my uniballs on the Tacoma were you’d be amazed to hear they never once squeaked.

Sweet-ness. This whole page from my last post down was an exciting, and informative read.

The ultimate goal is returning to alignment.
Camber, and caster adjustments are nice also.

You should do the brakes then. In the grand picture its not much more than the WL. Its a lot of work either way so might as well do it.

They got my caster where it needed to be and they're well built. Not a lot of maintenance, I grease them every oil change so 7.5-10k same time I do the driveshafts.

I live on a dirt road so uniball arms were never a consideration for me.

Dont want to start another thread so...

My new coilovers and rear shocks are on so now I am digging into the ins and outs of sway bars as my front links could use replacement. So lots of guys run without the front giving more articulation but also more body roll.

Anyone run just a rear sway bar? I am wondering if this could be a middle ground: better articulation and independence of the suspension up front but also cutting into the body roll a bit.

I think I am going to drop the front sway bar and see what that feels like.
