Typically with the a340 your going to get 5 quarts out from the pan.

When i did a drain and fill on mine, putting in 1 gallon was exactly the perfect amount (4 quarts i think is a gallon?)

It’s crazy how big tacos have gotten. My 1st gens are tiny compared to the tundra.. the 2nd and 3rd gens are damn near the same size

I’d love to have a new Tacoma come out the size of the originals. Nothing compares to them in my eyes.

I'd love a 1st gen taco if they weren't all 10 grand or rusted in half. I still miss my '96.

That would look super weird, yet awesome at the same time.
Honestly, I would love to find one too. So far this truck has been an extreme amount of fun to work on, or drive.

Just picture how the tundra drives, but compact. The reason I’ve enjoyed this tundra so much is it drives like a bigger first gen tacoma.

I drained the power steering fluid by letting it all gush out of the rusted hard p/s line onto my friends freshly re-coated driveway. :-(

Here are two videos I took of start up before I realized I left that one bolt out, and before I hooked up the PCV hose...
    https://youtu.be/6HZeg59BaIU
    https://youtu.be/4E2UZgLUNdI

This is why its important to have a working PCV valve. I'm assuming the 2UZ-FE engine is similar. Without the pcv valve my engine will stall, and die.

Just realized that I'm a dumbass. I should have Kaizen-ed my injector install by parking with the front end in this dip instead of where I did them. Where I needed a step ladder. Just didn't think about it.

Parking here the top of the bull bar come up to my belt, and I can reach the firewall comfortably. At the other spot the bull bar came to lower ribs, or just under. Live, and learn.

I was wondering your feedback on these.

I’d recco to anyone looking for ignition coils packs to use Denso. Go straight to their site to plug in your info and link over to the best vendor. $58 each currently.

I've developed some sort of horrible suspension squeak up front, sounds like the driver side. I greased the SPC upper control arms but it made no difference. I'm not sure what to think. Maybe the UCA bushings? Can coilovers squeak? I may try to jack up the front end later and mess around.

I would love to see Toyota bring back the 1st gen Tacoma, same styling, same size, same power to weight, with the only features added are the ones required to meet safety/emissions laws and stouter frames. It should be about $5-7K less than a comparable 3rd Gen Tacoma and I'd snap one up. Same goes for the 3rd Gen 4Runner....though I'd like to see them offer 1st/3rd Gen 4Runner Hybrid (not electric hybrid, a gen hybrid) that had a 2-door model with a removable top. They would sell a BAZILLION of those.
