I remember totally crashing MTV's shindig at Daytona back in '93. Riki Rachtman was such a d-bag. I'm shocked none of us went to jail with all the hijinks we inflicted.

I have to be pushing around 10-14 MPG if I were to guess. I need to run the numbers to really see. It takes a quarter of a tank of gas to get to work and back when I drive it on my Friday commute, about 60 miles round trip.

If you’re not afraid to do your own install, they are a decent option. Need patience, a heat gun / blow dryer and a lack of carpal tunnel to make it happen. And some hog ring pliers. Or pay someone $500-600 to install for you. Then it makes the Clazzios more attractive from an ease of install standpoint.

Looks like for some vehicles they have in-stock/ready to ship seat covers. Which they list in that spot when they have them. My bet is they just don't have any of the "ready to ship" covers in stock so you can only do customer orders.

On the plus side, they have vegan friendly options...

There's quite a bit of effort to install the Clazzio's, they just take the hogring portion out of the equation, it looks like.

Saw that, none of the leather options seemed to be in stock. I tried a few different (very basic/non-custom) color choices too, no dice.

If you take off the little holder clamp on the end, does that change anything?

By "holder clamp", are you talking about the rebound clip? That's what I was referring to loosening/ adjusting in the post, I think just before the one you replied to.

Rebound clip seems to have its bolt head embedded into the bottom two leafs. Seems like the head may originate at the 2nd leaf. This is why I was, like "oh this is totally the issue), but loosening it up to the point its bolt wasn't moving didn't appear to have any legitimate effect.

    Yeah, that's what I meant.

If I remember correctly, the end of each leaf had a little plastic puck thing. Is that still there?

Yep, all leaf-end shims intact. The bottom few use the standard puck. Between the 3rd and fourth (topmost) leafs, it uses more of a flat rectangular shim.

Well. I've got nothing. I've used up all of my internet diagnoses for the day :)

I'm going to look at mine this weekend and if it is the leaf pack I'll let you know what I find out. I installed the hellwig rear sway bar before I sold it and I'm guessing that's what's causing my clunk.

I mean, I slapped mine in the driveway. I found two tays to go about diagnosing sounds out back.

    A) Hands-free: Head under a rear tire, on your back. Knees tucked up into the spare tire rubber. Lift/drop the truck using your knees. Then go to other side and repeat with head under the other tire.
    B) Hands-on: Under the truck, press up/down on the frame just under each rear hanger.

I started with (B) and it became really obvious which side the clunk was on. I ended up filming using (A) so I could have my hands free. The camera on my iPhone was pretty good about picking up the sound, took a few videos to play the "hot or cold" game (where is it loudest?). When I realized it was near the leaf behind the axle, started putting my hand on metal while using (A) method. When I touched the lower part of the leaf pack, it was clear it was coming from there, and I isolated it to the bottom two leafs.

YMMV, but you may be able to do the same to pinpoint. Maybe just try (A) and see which side the clunk is happening. Then repeat while touching metal stuff until you feel it, if it's not obvious.

60/40 split? Sorry, not trying to get microscopic here, just want to make sure I'm not giving worthless info.
