00-04 is different from 05-06. Maybe they sold you the wrong one?

You left a really pretty state and moved to the land of brisket and traffic. Western NC is awesome. No wonder those Canadians fell in love. I was born in NC too.


TX brisket is really good though.

Western NC is very beautiful. It's a great place to visit. I was born in Eastern NC. Grew up in Charlotte. Always lived in/near there my entire life. I'm thankful for the opportunity to have moved here to TX. While I know that some deal with horrible traffic on a daily basis, I'm fortunate to not be one of those folks. I love it here.

 

The fact you can buy it fresh at a gas station tells you a lot.

West TX is only 1/3 of the state...

 

Tell that to the people moving to San Antonio and Austin. The hill country is the best part of the state, IMO. But east TX has the piney woods, which is nice.

 

East Texas looks like Louisiana. Pass.

 

I'm specifically picking on DFW. I'm sure Hill Country is nice. That's the only pretty area I hear mentioned repeatedly. I'd like to see Big Bend. What are the other nice areas?

I've driven through East TX. It has trees which is an improvement over the other areas I saw.

 

I like Texas. Just generally stirring

 

I can't recall what the sweet spot is called, but it basically runs down from the Cross Timbers & Prairies, Blackland Prairies, and Post Oak Savannah to part of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains.
