Are those numbers volts? Or watts? Or amps? I just glazed over the more i thought about it.

Yeah I like my bench much seat for that reason. If I see someone coming at me broadside and I’m stuck in an intersection I can quickly jump to the passenger side for safety. Unlikely in today’s vehicles.

I’m not sure what table you’re looking there. There’s a bunch of them.

That's kinda like driving around w/o your seatbelt on, but deploying it as you see an accident starting to happen ;)

Delta and Star are terminology that describe a motor circuit and how it's modeled. You can look it up to see the circuit but if you don't know Circuit Analysis 101 it might be difficult to understand. I can't recall if they use imaginary numbers or not (no joke there I'm afraid).

Depends upon how much warning you get. I've been able to anticipate people skidding into me from behind and moved forward 10 ft to avoid an accident at least twice.

every time i go into the city. Sorry my bike isnt loud, but that doesnt mean i'm not there... if road rage was as bad as the news says it is then i would be a smear on the road, but most folks are very apologetic & put their phone down for a couple minutes...some folks need to be punished, but i've never had a gun pulled on me.

yea i have, but i wasnt on the bike. I was in the blazer & literally going as fast as i could. One of the reasons i dont respect people that drive crossovers or have paper tags.

I don't care that you're doing it; just the concept of jumping off the controls to slide over to the passenger seat; all while you're not restrained seems like a plan not well thought out

Well I'd have to slam it into park if I were stuck there. Thankfully, most crossings in traffic are on the passenger side. Here it's not against the law to drive without a seatbelt unless they pull you over for another offense.

It sucked having a center console when my driver door latch was broken. Better than the dc/sequoia center console, but still a pita.

in my quest to unlimit my truck i want a cloth bench.

The worst situation I deal with is taking a left hand turn and crossing over the other lane. The first guy lets you pass, but the person from behind them typically goes around, so I have to literally crawl forward hoping it's not going to be one of those situations. Had someone come within 4 inches of hitting me broadside before because of that.

I assumed you were kidding.;) I figured you know, kidding aside, that any side impact you'd prefer to move 3.5' to avoid, is pretty likely to kill or maim you, if you're not wearing a seatbelt.

I'm far from an expert in but in this case it looks like the star/delta is the different wiring methods for the stator and the RPM numbers are what you need to hit to produce the the voltage 12/24/48v respectively.

Not necessarily. Even a foot away from the door is helpful. Had a friend who got one of the side door protection bars pierce his leg because of a broadside hit in an older c3 corvette.

Yeah, we're still not on the same page. Even one foot could save you... *if* you're restrained. Otherwise, the damage you'll sustain, getting knocked across and back again, if you're not restrained by a seatbelt, will likely do more damage than being hit closer to the impact but not knocked across the car. This is a physics problem.

So if you can scoot across and restrain yourself on the passenger side, this is a winning strategy.

But theres like 5 different stars for the 36 pole.

Say i can keep a 30 rpm cadence and. Have a 9.5:1 ratio & can hold 285 rpm. Which wiring do i need? 6x2 or 4x3? Or is it 2x6 or 3x4?

Well a seatbelt isn't going to restrain your upper body which is still free to move. If you're next to the door, your head is likely to hit the window from the lower half of your body getting pushed sideways being buckled in which is why we have side airbags today. Unfortunately those weren't available for the Tundra until 05-06 if I'm not mistaken. If you scoot over, you still have room for your head to fall sideways and hopefully not into the damaged door/window. Can't say you won't hit the side of the steering wheel if the airbag doesn't deploy though. So there's that.

Besides, if I'm unbuckled and get hit, that's actually worse because my body wants to stay at rest while the truck is motion with the door coming at me.

6x2 with the white cap, 4x3 with the black. If I'm reading correctly the closer to the correct RPM numbers the more power you'll create.

Negs, but if someone wants to watch tv, i feel this is fair.

my house generator is a whole seperate thing, and i want a pair of pto generators, run off a fwd diesel something @ 45mph. Open diff, so i can lock one side & overdrive the other.

Haha. Yea, this is rural. You can shoot & burn things here. Wanna watch tv?

Effit. I could leave it hooked up full time. Grandma stays engaged, but mom & dad have to turn on noise within 10 min of being here. And then pretend they havent heard the same damn thing over & over.

If you're trying to hook that up to that diesel generator, I wouldn't. Basically, that's a 3 pole motor with a shit load of stators. Depending on how you wire the stators is what you're gonna run at. I believe a diesel generator runs at like 1200ish rpm? I'm not sure that washing machine part can handle that.

Also, I don't know why they call it "star". It's wye. Wye and Delta are transformer configurations, therfore 3 phase power angles. 3 phase wye is 120/208, delta is 120/240 with a high leg of 208 to neutral on B phase. Well, if it's center tapped. If not, it's just 240 all around.

Gotcha. Don't do that either. You can't pedal as fast as a washing machine. Also, rewiring those stators would probably be a pain in the dick.
