What were the items? Maybe the ultimate seller pitched a bitch to Amazon? Maybe the ultimate seller has a high return rate, and is trying to mitigate the effect of the returns shitty product? Also, are you Prime? I get exactly zero hassle when I return stuff, although I return maybe ~ 6 items per year. Sometimes they even say "keep it, don't bother to return it, we'll just issue a refund". Last year when my wife had shoulder surgery I ordered a lazy-boy like reclining chair to help her sleep while recovering. I regarded the purchase as a disposable item, assuming that it only needed to last ~ 1 year. It was much better than I expected, but the spring back when she un-reclined literally ejected her from the chair. Esta no bueno! So I asked for a return. after some back and forth they said "OK, just keep it. We'll issue a refund". And they did! So now what do I do with this fucking chair, all packed up in a ~ 3' cube? It took months to find someone to take it.

I've returned items for which they issue a refund once UPS picks the item up from the drop off location. Lol.

I dont have prime, but kinda enjoy having to order a certain amount to get free shipping.

Minibike carb & cap seal didnt quite get me there, so i got a little tricolor emblem.

    IMG_4445.jpg

in pasadena theres a kohls or something to take returns to, something would have to be more expensive than the trinkets i buy to be worth returning. Round trip to the post office is damn near 60 miles.

Local drop off box is like 5 miles for me. Local drop off location for larger items is maybe 6.5.

Keep the V8 emblem. All the cool kids do.
I'd move the tricolors down one slot though. Or have them opposed to the V8 emblem on other side of the grill.

Now that I’m 40, my body just can’t keep up with the demands of working on a vehicle all day. I woke up slap worn out. So much so that I have decided not to make the 9 o’clock service at church. Therefore, I’ve decided to serenade the neighbors with Alan Jackson.

I’m wondering if its because I’m not a prime member. I looked over my order history for the past 15 years and really don't order a lot of items from them but I do typically return at least 1 or 2 items per year out of the 5-10 items I order. So worst case, 20%. A lot of the items I returned are never opened and are resellable but i guess they don’t care. Either that or they’re just trying to find an excuse to drop me since I’m not a big user.

Or try to spread the money around and support other companies? The fact that we've got to the point of calling them Scamazon is enough motivation for me to avoid buying stuff from them when I can.

I’m playing hooky from going to church today as well. It’s supposed to rain all tomorrow and i want to get my tundra project buttoned up enough that the critical parts don’t get wet.

...if you are worn out, just get to church a little bit early and claim your own pew. Bring a pillow and earplugs and lay down and take a 1.5 hour nap...at front row pew of course.

Finishing up all the last minute stuff on my 2001 that I wanted to get done before Winter.

I cannot for the life off me get my coolant system purged of air, I had to drain it. Any tips?

I have parked it uphill also level, with my heater on and radiator cap off. Blipped the throttle. Water pump seems to be dead headed, but I know it works along with the thermostat. Squeezed the radiator hoses to massage any air out. I have never over heated before, I don't want to do it now.

Any tips? Never had this much trouble purging air.

That happened to me a few months ago...

I bought some bumper plastic repair epoxy from Amazon. I ordered a 10.1 oz tube and a 7.1 ounce was delivered. Once i retuned it i got that same message from amazon. I called them up and they straightened out right quick.

And so i purchased another tube of 10.1 oz epoxy and yet again, a 7.1 oz was delivered. I figured that since amazon is wasting my time, i would play their game. I returned the said epoxy to my local UPS sore in a much larger box...along with a bunch of styrofoam peanuts. This went on and on for a few months. Pretty soon i had retuned 14 separate tubes of 7.1oz epoxy to amazon. I was using very large boxed and using my garbage to pad my shipping boxes to keep the little epoxy tube from rattling around inside of it. Pretty soon i had a box large enough that the UPS store lady muttered, “i think this box might be too large to fit with our normal shipping”. I never did get the correct sized epoxy. But i did get all of my money’s back.

There’s some trick to opening your thermostat right away…I’d like to say using an ice cube? which then melts and closes. That way you can force the air bubble to the radiator.

I think you're onto something... The thermostat does seem to be the issue. I have my t-stat jiggler valve in the correct position, 12 oclock I think, and it worked before I tore into it. Is there a bleeder anywhere on the 4.7?

When I was a kid, we always sat on the front row at church and it kind of bothered me because my dad always said that the devil sits in the front row.
My family and I sit in the second row so that we can keep an eye on the devil

Did you season the cast iron pan with linseed oil or something else? That will help prevent any sticking.
