Wait, so the Vibe and Matrix are the same car? Like some of the Scions were Mazdas and the Geo Prizm was a Corolla or whatever? I thought they looked strangely familiar, but …

 

There was one xrs in the top link, and it was in Bozeman MT. Good price though. 2nd link is too new. They dropped the 1.8 2zz and went with a 2.4 in 07. For some reason they're slower.

Yup, same car. Both based on the corolla chassis. They came standard with the 1zz, xrs has the 2zz and 6spd.

My neighbor has started a war with some redneck. Two weeks ago I heard him yell at a kid in a shitbox 90's Chevy pickup for speeding.

For two weeks now that kid has been driving by revving his loud exhaust, dropping a gear, then hauling ass past our houses. He comes by 3-4 times per day. I wish I had spike strips I could deploy.

I'm trying to figure out where he lives. Trying to think of a creative payback.

 

Get his license plate number and report his driving behavior to the local LEO. Stop him next time he is driving by and you’re out and let him know his behavior is ridiculous and dangerous, especially if there are children, pets etc that frequent the street. Let him know you reported him to the LEO agency and let him know it’s his only warning from you. Or, If it’s really a “kid” driving, figure out where he lives and tell his momma. Then if the behavior continues, time to get more creative.

 

That's my plan. I'm waiting on a call back from the sheriff's department. The problem is that he's going so fast I can't get his plate. My next step is to have my dirt bike handy and try to catch up. Typically I'm inside and by the time I go out there he's way down the road. He looks like a teenager or maybe early 20's. I'm thinking he has to live really close so I may go on a scouting run tomorrow.

Yup. The Vue redline had a honda v6 in it. C30a or something like that. I thought they were pretty cool.
