Technically you're only going up a 1/2 inch. Diameter goes up an inch but from the center of the wheel to the ground it would only be a 1/2".

5.2/5.9 were both decent engines. Intake plenum gaskets were a problem on both that made them suck down oil pretty quick, the coolant bypass hoses were only an issue if you never changed them but they can be a bitch to do. Had a 92 3.9 Dakota, 99 and a 93 5.2 Dakota, and a 5.9 Ram all were decent trucks but with random issues.

I did really like the 93

It's funny, I love square body trucks, GM's GMT400 platform was super appealing to me. But that thing looks like someone upsized an S10 out back then threw an F150 front end on it.

I've got one of the Garmin minis. Love it. Took me forever to decide on one, which was stupid, anything could've happened in the 18 months it took me to finally decide...

WTF was the guy actually doing, having a heart attack? Did he at least correct when you looked in the rearview?

It was intentional. No clue why. There was an SUV behind me but in the slow lane. He did a slalom move between me and that SUV.

Mine is ok but I regret not getting a dash cam that can connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Getting the video from my Viofo is a lot of work.

What a dick. Was it a Dodge/RAM? Might've been @BTBAKER looking for some IRL troll action. (I can't tell, but it looks like a Sierra)

The Garmin mini's app is pretty solid. It's not the fastest to pull data, but it's quick to review, easy tools so slice out the crap you don't need, and if you prefer you can just eject the miniSD card, slap it into an adapter, and throw it in a laptop to find the full-length video file.

It was a GMC. Here's the thing, if it wasn't intentional, all he had to do was lock up the brakes and commit to a lane. We were going slow enough to stop. He never even attempted that.

The camera rearview mirror thing i got is too heavy for my mirror, so i need to find an arm to hold it to the tombstone, instead of rubberbanding it to my stock mirror.

Had a friend with a 93 Dakota reg cab in red with the v8. Ended up getting the entire engine rebuilt under their 7 year power train warranty due to warped pistons at year 6, however he always pushed the truck from the get-go nearly peeling out everywhere he went.

What in the hell am I getting pulled into?
I had two Garmin Minis. They were solid. Put one in my wife’s Highlander and one in my work truck. I picked up a three channel that has a dedicated channel and camera for the rear. So far, so good.

I've been thinking a lot about sticking a camera in my rear lately. I couldn't find anything that looked like a good fit.

Ahhh ok, to each his own, and you might want to use incognito mode when searching for that one that's a good fit.

    The parts pile grows!

Pulled the trigger on the snowflakes, not upset about it at $40 a corner.

Decided that the shop door is on its last leg, and it's a good excuse to go with a 10' door. Should make some work related tasks easier too ;)

Still probably 8-10 days out from actually working on this thing, but I'm looking forward to it.
