You should go ahead and convert your truck to the sequoias coil spring rears while you're at it

Oh hell naw. I just got a kneeling chair from scAmazon similarly. Box looked like that. Was missing the seat post entirely. Asked the seller to send a label and return/replace. That turned into a shitshow, which, after they refused to do anything except send me spare parts, ultimately ended with the seller issuing a refund, forcing me to keep a product I couldn't use, then calling me a liar, and me having to report them to scAmazon. I'm just, like ... I'm a paying customer. I paid for something new, not opened. They admitted it was a warehouse mistake, the box shouldn't have gone out ... replace the damn thing.

I was able to re-use the two frame pieces, all the hardware went into my hardware bin, and it had better casters than my existing kneeling chair so I swapped them over, and ... I can't figure out what the hell to do with the two pleather cushions, I guess they're going to the landfill :(

    I approve of this shitpost!

Nobody wants a free headlight harness? Power switched and thick enough gauge to brighten things up. Just pay shipping or don’t if you’re that broke.

Y'all see the guy on the FB groups that swapped a 5.7 into his 03 AC? Now he's got a supercharger for it. Insane.

    I'd have gone with a 5.3 or 6.0 personally.

Why are you wanting a 3/4 impact? I know a lot of guys but 1/2 buy, all the comparisons videos I've seen show that, weirdly, breakaway torque has been as good or better on 3/8, and is lighter to carry, easier to handle. I wound up choosing the flat face for tight spaces 3/8 Milwaukee.

Tractor Supply sells an affordable high clearance bottle jack that doubles as a jack stand (extra pin for safety) that a lot of us carry. Won't fit under the back seat though.

Hah, sorry, typed 3/4 while thinking 1/2, oops. I have a wimpy 3/8 but doing 83 ft lbs breakaway with it is a chore and I had to throw a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter on it for the 21mm socket since the lug kit is all 1/2” and so is my torque wrench.

Probably go with a DCF899B once I pull the trigger.

Yeah, ideal bottle jack would be one that fits in the Oem spot somehow but that’s not anything I’ve ever seen before. Cause the two RC’s are tight on space. Would be cool if someone made an adapter bracket or something.

Just picked up a neat triple link scissor jack. Stretches from 3-16" might wanna run it off a drill.

That's the one I have but I saved money buy purchasing the jack separately even though it's identical.

Edit- I don't have that exact kit. I got the cheaper one.

You guys with under rear seat storage don't know how good you have it :)

Yeah, I think maybe the '16 deserves this setup. Where did you get the jack? Anyone have opinions on prolift (that's my jackstand brand) vs omega?

Oh, and anyone with concerns storing a bottle jack sideways? I guess the OEM one is stored that way so whatever?

Pretty sure I ordered it from Home Depot. Same jack down to the model # but less mark up than Safe Jack.

I never even considered that. What would the issue be?

Leaking I suppose? I see a lot of posted concerns but no real evidence of this actually happening.

    Yes sir!

Ive been thinking about it for a while. Just cut what you need off and weld it on the sequoia axle. I think theyre wider than ours though.

Rams have coil springs. I'll stick with my leaves.

Thanks for the look out my dude! I'll add it to my list although not a big fan of all the upfront maintence issues mentioned. *edit also seems to be 2wd

Theres a couple of options since last time I posted that I believe is in decent shape. My biggest problem rn is waiting on half the people to get off their behind and check their fb once in a while. :bananadead:. Almost makes me feel like I should just buy from a dealership to avoid this headache lmao.

Hey Shifty, any thoughts on the TRD package option on these? I thought that the TRD sticker is just standard on all these, so is finding one that has a "TRD package installed" worthwhile or is not even worth considering as much as all the other options to look out for?

Not with the oem jack but that’s what I use for the trailer tongue jack. Very stable and adaptable.
