I've never used jackstands under my truck. Only wooden blocks.

Keep it going bro. The fun part is when the scent blindness fully wears off, and you start finding old stuff of yours a month or two out like hats and such, and you fully get to appreciate what a walking ashtray you've been to the rest of the world.

I had a little pants-shitting-worthy incident with a ratcheting jackstand back in 2005. I'm won't lie, it was probably a fluke, and I've used them again out of necessity, but I don't want to buy another pair unless they have a safety lock. I'm just grateful I had both stands up, and a wheel under, I was using my jack for another task at the time. I liked my old yellow pin stands, no clue the brand, but they worked. No uncertainty, when they're locked in, they're not going anywhere.

I was eyeballing the Sunex ones because the range looked good at first glance for before/after lift (19"-30"), but I'm realizing now, 19" is pretty high up there. And they're pin type. I only intended on picking up 2.

@JakeJake I'd love to have a 2-post. My one friend in town that had one moved to Daytona about 10 years ago. The person who bought his house almost immediately pulled it out. But hey, you've seen the QuickJack, right?

Order is in. The black ones were a full Hamilton less at $52/pr so I went ahead and grabbed a pair of pairs. Nice to see my scAmazon consumption is down to ~2 orders per month. F those guys.

Oh and if anyone is interested the "A" in the model number indicates it has the 2nd locking provision. I was looking at the AT46002 before, NOT the 46002A because I skipped your link FGV. It seems everything after the "A" in the model number is a color code (these come in black "BR" and blue "BU" or something), i.e. ABR = Locking, black. Or maybe not, the Walmart link apparently only has "AB" and they're black locking. Wonder what the R and the U are for in the other models?

I went from three packs a day to ZERO cold turkey. Results? I felt like I was hungover for a month! My attention span dwindled down to the sub-second range. The first detectable health effect was that I GAINED 30 pounds! Quitting was so difficult (some say it's harder than quitting heroin) that the only reason I didn't relapse was that I didn't want to go through it all again! (I still believe that had I gone back to smoking I'd still be smoking today!) @Tundra2

So this year I decided I’m done with a winter (January) birthday and want a summer one instead. So I will be half assing the rest of my way through life and celebrating my halfday (half birthday) from here on out July 28th now! Had to work today but the wifey and kids brought me some treats!

We went and looked at an 02 sequoia for my daughter today. Limited 2wd. It needs a driver's mirror/housing, tailgate handle, windshield, and a good scrubbing. She wants it and it's $5500, so we're going to get it Wednesday.

Rumor when I hunted around is those Pro-Lift are actually the same damn jackstand as the Torins, made in the same factory.

Thing is, I paid same price for the Torins on the order I screencapped as I would've for the Pro-Lift.

    Happy half-day-b-day or whatever

thought i was gonna get off easy with an oil change, tire rotation, & brake inspection. Grandma said it shakes so bad at 70 she can barely hold onto the steering wheel. Lucky me.
