Was rolling like a boss in the best gen yesterday. It was about 105 outside. Rolled the window down to order some taco casa like the beef castle I am. Went to roll it back up and nothing. Kept trying and nothing. Got driving some and it went up half way and stopped. Then got it to go up the rest of the way. Looked up the regulator and motor and they were cheap. Betting installation won’t be fun though

Drip some of that carne guisada sauce down in there. Also, don't roll that down again until October!!

Mine did that a year and a half ago. Took the door card off (yes that's the proper name for the inner door panel and is a common term!) and cleaned and lubed the window track, regulator and associated mechanisms and it's worked great since.

Does it go up and down any faster than it did previously? I’m wondering if that’s a fix for a slow up/down movement or if just getting a new motor is the fix.

Lots of people complained about the replacement motor they bought on line having its wire polarity reversed also, so be aware of this if you plan to install ... test before button-up, but also know some guys have had luck with freeing it up and re-lubing - hell, I guess you see that above...

Oh since this is lunch table thread, anyone know wtf this crap is? It's not a tonsil stone. It's soft to the touch, has no sensation at all. It was a bit larger (taller) this morning but I had a coughing fit a little bit ago and something gnarly came out. Tested negative for strep, not that strep looks any damn thing like this.

I've had tonsil stones dislodge before a couple times in my life, now I looked them up. Honestly, they look like little hard boogers and smell like the most hideous thing.

NONE of the following pics are mine. Top of my tonsil has a perfectly round, soft sack that's baloon-ish and can be pushed in on with no sensation.

This pic shows a pretty significant one, and what it probably looked like before coming out - notice you can see the others above it in that 2nd pic, that's pretty normal:

The ones I had prior just naturally dislodged, but it's been very few of them. They're hard as a rock, almost like a tooth fragment.

As for the squishy sac I have on my tonsils now, poking it does nothing. It looks like it's just a sac full of pus in the back of my throat, around the top of my tonsils.

Got an appt with a real doc tomorrow, hopefully know more then.

I think that’s what it is. My brother would get these. Surprised there is not some pain or aggravation with it though

I'd say harden/numb it with a couple ice cubes and pop it like a pimple. Clean it out with a water jet.

He’ll end up swallowing the pus that way. I say rise it out with non-alcoholic mouthwash once the abscess is punctured.
