Long story short a few years ago they installed a new gym floor in our building. I grabbed a few 4x4 foot scraps to lay down on my gravel drive when I need to jack and support stuff since it gives a nice surface.

    Don't give our secret away.

I finished up the passenger side this morning and no lie the impact probably saved me about 4 hours of work. I knew they were time savers but it far exceeded my expectations.

Fixing to grease the zerks for the first time on my truck. Previous owner said he did them somewhat regularly, but I'm getting the thunk at stop lights. I know about the black hole slip yoke fitting and jumping on the bumper so that's how I'll do that one.

But the other 7 zerks - I've read conflicting info on how much grease to pump into those. 3 pumps? Pump until the old stuff squirts out? What's the consensus?

It usually a quick exit on lesser, but there’s always that chance. It’s a photo op spot so somebody usual has a throw rope there too if it’s needed

She lives!! After exhausting my search of the cables and wires up and down the harness, I wire wheeled the battery cables’ exposed wires, cleaned the mess out of the newer positive terminal, and replaced the negative battery clamp. Sumbich fired right up.

Took no chances and bought some battery corrosion preventer and blasted everything!

Now grease up your damn handles

I clean my zerk tip, then pump until I see a fair amount of grease come out of the seals. I'm not one to pump until grease runs clear. A little funk in there never hurt anyone. Then wipe down to reduce sling.

Looks 'on purpose' to me, all that dark trim to match the door.

IDK, could just be a replacement bed since the wheel flare is a different color.

I'm guessing it's a new door shell, they moved the trim, handle, mirror etc. over. Not rocket science here. It's what you do when you gotta do it. :D
