I watched a documentary on those guys. They had a roadie spy who told them all about what Bon Jovi was doing down to the brand of hairspray. What outfits, guitars etc. they just copied the formula and had a little success as it were. They did the Nightmare on Elmstreet 2 soundtrack I believe.

For 1997 the F250 looked identical to the new F150, just rode on the HD chassis and had maybe 7 lug wheels on it. Then the first Ford "Superduty" was introduced and the body styles diverged.

So now that I've replaced the AC condenser in the virus, what needs to happen now?

Have a shop pull a vacuum, leak test, and then recharge?

This is my first A/C rodeo

Replace the filter drier? It’s also not a bad idea to change the Schrader cores(the shop can do that)
    But yeah that’s about it

The drier is built onto the condenser. I'll see if they can change those too or I can? Can I get them on rockauto?

    Oh cool,
They might have them on RA? There’s a few different types/styles for cars it seems(only one style for bikes/refrigeration) so it can be confusing if you buy them at autozone or whatever, but they do require a special insertion/removal tool

@FrenchToasty Shouldn’t Noah replace worn out O-rings? Since the system is already opened up, that would help make it blow stronger, wouldn’t it? :muscleflexing:

The new condenser probably came with them, I wouldn’t touch anything else unless you were pulling that part, to replace the o rings

I'll see what rockauto lists when I get to the company pewter.

The new condenser did not come with new o-rings, but I did inspect the ones on the lines. They looked good and had good squish. I lubed them with a tiny bit of dielectric to help making sure not to block the passageway

The system is already back together and has been for a day or three now.

I'll see what I can find. I need one for the high and the low? Correct?

Basically overview, yes, but you forgot to cross your fingers and hope for no leaks, most shops won't refill you if so

And if you missed anything, believe me, they're going to tell you.

Mine would lock/unlock along with the cabin light going on/off as I drove down the highway when I took delivery of the truck from the dealer. Bad latch on the door needed to be realigned to fix the door lock detect circuit. Pretty freaky when you’re driving home at night.

I'm going to give our Southern folks nightmares.

Changed out the hub assembly on the new to me Sebring, first time using my DeWalt impact for anything other than lug nuts. Took me just about 2 hours including a half hour looking for my torque wrench. Couldn't believe the impact zipped out the external torx bolts like nothing.
