Around here after you duct tape, zip tie, or rivet something on rather than actually repairing it, you say AN' STAY ON!!

well the tie rod end that’s ZIPTIED will fall apart long before the nut lacking a cotterpin does. Zip ties…… I mean, at least use some hose clamps or tie wire, right?
Tell him strut spacers for his 3” lift for sure. Homemade to save money too.

I had to pull over on my way to Florida Saturday and zip tie my finder liner. :D The push pin fasteners came out and it started rubbing my tire.

I was so glad I had zip ties in my truck.

I adjusted them at first just in case I wanted to keep them, but seriously, I can't even imagine anyone would want to keep them. People overthink shit. Even if they rotate with your turns correctly, even if they're smaller, a simple line is PERFECT, no need to overdesign it.

This is the kind of person I hope never joins. I'd hafta smh and bow out pronto. I really hope it's a joke/troll post.

    this is the way.

    Also lug studs. Thanks @shifty`

I ordered 5 but only needed two originally. Broke another stud off on the pass side taking that wheel off. So ended up needing 3.

Whelp, my daughter went out to start the truck Monday and got nothing. Battery is dead. I checked it yesterday and my mileage was flashing off and on. Not long before this my 4 channel amp quit outputting. It has power, just no sound coming out. With the truck jumped and running voltage is fine at 14.4ish. I don't have the cash for an optima or equivalent, so it's just getting a basic battery.

Oh, and both dudes backed out of buying the SHOs. So they may be headed for the crusher soon.

I touched the amp wire to the + and it sparked with the radio off. I guess I need to pull the seats and see what's going on. That sounds like a weekend Beau thing to do.

Contemplating this for high and low beams, fog 1 and fog 2, and maybe even reverse lights. I’d have to source triggers from the cab for the last two though, and long term I planned for a switch-pros so maybe this is just overkill.

you want to bring em down here. But you want to do it when it cools down a bit.

& good luck with the electrical gremlins. The date knockouts on that battery say May '15? I'd say that was a fair run.

Sticker on the side is 1/20. It's still good, I d/c the amps and it's fine now. If it's not too hot and my daughter is home ill pull the seats Saturday and check it all out.

Definitely read and listen/watched a lot of that as well. I normally scoff at a lot of the content that comes out, but it feels like there's a dam with a lot of leaks which may not be far from giving way. The concept that bodies are a vessel for consciousness, and those bodies are engineered to transfer consciousness into is an interesting take I haven't seen before.

Just did a full test with a meter and confirmed my headlights are power switched. Presumably because I have the "DRL" enabled option so as soon as my parking brake is released, I get full voltage on the low beam filament. Did not try disconnecting the DRL junction b/c it's really tight to get into there with the battery installed but I'll assume disconnecting that will eliminate my DRL through the headlights stuff. The interesting question becomes if I can tap that signal for a "DRL" relay to feed elsewhere, something I'll explore down the road, assuming it's a clean ignition switched signal which honors parking brake, just like my '16.

Question for ya’ll. What are these headers worth?
They came with the tundra when I bought it, probably not gonna use them so rather sell them. No idea what brand they are. Tried looking up the idea number on the box but no luck
