Agreed. I'd love a cts-v wagon. And they come in stick.

Audi makes some seriously nice wagons. All their cars look sexy though.

I mean there's definitely some sick wagons out there. But IMHO, they're mostly 30+ years old
There was a sick white Honda Accord wagon in neighborhood growing up. It was lowered on 18's. Super clean

Yes they do. Look up timing chain replacement for the 4.2 v8. That'll change your mind about wanting one.

Pretty sure I almost had Casey convinced he needed a ridgeline, all the heathens in the back had so much room for activities on our little ride out in the cinders

After seeing @des2mtn without back seats in his DC, I'm impressed with all the room, the accessibility and of course the back window. That being said I'd rock one for camping, especially if I had my own crotch goblins running a muck. But I still prefer the shorter AC for wheeling. In fact I really wanna bob my bed once I buy a small camper trailer and ditch the softopper and modify the heck out of my rear bumper to match the bob

Yeah the wheel base can be a killer in more of the technical stuff, but overall I’m happy with it for our family needs.

Wagons are pretty sweet, getting harder to come by too, all crossovers and SUVs now.
My last car, nothing terribly special performance wise, I6, 5 speed manual with some bolt ons, went more for style than performance, but it was peppy enough and drove very nicely, surprisingly nice ride for being lowered on 19s
    IMG_1197.jpg
My wife’s current car is basically the same car only a year older, automatic and bone stock. My mom drives one too, only the AWD variant. What can I say, they’ve been great cars for us.

I had regret at times that I didn't buy a DC but after this last trip I'm good. With my backseat out, we can fit a lot of gear in my cab. We figured out a better way to store it on the drive back so that we could recline the seats more and sleep in the cab at that lovely Arkansas truck stop. I don't think my seat is going back in the truck. It's still sitting in my garage and I enjoy the extra space.

I'll always be jealous of that roll down rear window though.

Yeah I like having no back seat as well.
It's funny we all did the seat delete around the same time

I did a platform. Probably a little different than everyone elses...

I just did a back panel that I still need to finish. It's got my sub box and fire extinguisher mounted to it. But I still want to carpet it on both sides with sub box carpet to hopefully quiet things a little.

When we had two dogs, I did experiment with a platform but found it wasn't going to work. I'm actually ok with no platform as my fridge fits perfectly. It would look better if I built something but I doubt I will. I may build a 2nd bed box though.

So did you leave the back wall of the seat delete open or what? I kept my back rests on for at least a year after I removed the asses. I didn't remove the back rest until a few days before I headed to T2S

Pops swapped the best gen for his Prius yesterday. He bought some steps for his huge dog to get in and out of the bed, I was pretty impressed.

Yes. I've got those black plastic panels still hanging. I use the child seat hooks to hang packing cubes which we store our clothes in. It doesn't look great but also doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it.
