I'd buy for a commuter to save on gas if I had the room for it. But realistically I can't imagine no longer dailying the 03. I love it. Brap brap bitches. :burnrubber:

But a manual is a game changer.

I was just thinking about you when I saw the car, but wasn't sure if it has enough leg room for the boy.

Don't forget to find some Cactus Cooler while you're there. Mine just showed up in the mail yesterday.

I’ll be hunting. I’m gonna be working some f’n weird ass hours and it’s looking like I’ve got 2 days worth of potentially 10-12 hour shifts in a datacenter depending on how this shit goes. Kinda pisses me off, I thought it’d only be 4-6 hours tomorrow, and I’d have Tues/Wed to head to T-town and visit a coworker who was supposed to do the exact work I’m doing, then maybe loop in with @FrenchToasty for a beer or three. (Or anyone else on here for that matter)

I found some Mr Pibb in Moab. Never had it from a can before. Mixes well with rum.

Legit Mr. Pibb? I thought they only made Pibb Xtra now. I remember these cans as a kid.

I’m off call starting Monday, that works out perfect. I’ll have to say, The Buffet, is a must see/smell. Maybe @Azblue can stop by for a round.

You guys go into work? I’m typically only in the Monday’s and Wednesday for the on-site breakfast and I’m back at home by lunch to finish out the day.

I was work from home during the great bullshit event, but then the powers that be in the Center of the Universe (Phoenix-state capitol) decided that my position needed to go back to the office.

They say I’m supposed to be there along with 30 other people in my area for 3 days a week but I’ve yet to see more than 5 people around at any given time.

Tues/Wed/Fri here mostly. But the task I’m working this week can’t be done from ATL, period. I’m hoping to get Wednesday free.

There are people on-site where I am but they’re primarily people who have to work in a classified lab all the time. One of the reasons i never became a software engineer.

I occasionally have to hang around for most of the day if I need to meet up with others or do some support work at the factory.

Really, he (and his bb teammates) will do better with a larger Camry or an Avalon. But I'll probably jump all in for any well-maintained Toyota or Honda.

I'm a huge fan of manual and would be thrilled to teach my kid to shift with one hand, while he texts with the other, and steers and clutches with his knees. Gotta be able to multi-task to be an effective driver.

its harder to learn how to troubleshoot problems with a reliable vehicle. Get him a 80's jeep.

    Jajaja! Good Heep jab.

He's not yet interested. If he showed any grease monkey potential, he'd be choosing the vehicle.

So my buddy successfully tuned our other buddy's GX470 with the vf tuner. He says I just need to use a code reader to find my Cal ID so he can do preparatory stuff, since he's like 5hrs away. I don't think my Scangauge2 can provide the Cal ID. So I guess I'll see if AutoZone can pull it up for me with their reader. The 4x4 will be tuned! :woot:
The 4x2 might get tuned too, but 5hrs is a long drive with no cruise control. One of these days I'll fix the clock spring .
