Sounds like that’s about to change with the new CEO who started this week: https://sports.yahoo.com/toyota-looks-overhaul-ev-strategy-110039811.html

I think in the past they were hoping to kind of hedge or straddle both sides in not going all-in on EVs—EVs only make sense economically and environmentally (that is, using the same lifecycle/net emissions standards the ESG folks apply to hydrocarbons processes) when governments mandate their adoption by subsidizing EV production/purchase and/or penalizing hydrocarbon production/use and there’s no promise that those political mandates will stay in place and while we were busy kicking ass at ICE and hybrids, others got a way bigger jump on EV processes and tech, so while we probably could put out a good product and have the brand to sell it under, we’re way behind. So Toyota’s strategy did make some business sense.

I just hope they keep making great ICE engines!!

Aside from the color, I don't see any similarities.

    Near-identical cab and window shape/size
Similar square-off to the rear cab corner
    Near-identical window shapes
Similar hood slope and shape, none of the ever-so-popular-these-days bulge
Similar fender-to-hood and finder-to bedside ratio
    Plastic cab tops to bedsides
    Similar cab-to-bed ratio
Bed proportions almost identical, even similar rear-wheel-to-back-of-cab shape/size
Very long, linear grill/headlight section (Ignore the lower chrome cap on the DC and the headlights/grille on both make a long, skinny line across the face)

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear the RAM is what an EV Taco should look like, as a rebirth of the 1GT.

Heads up... Wheelers is running a 15% off sale (ALL NON-TRAIL-GEAR FAMILY PRODUCTS DISCOUNT GIVEN AT CHECKOUT) with free shipping on orders over $100 and no tax (at least for my locale) until 4/17. I'm going to order some Timbren rear bump stops for $215 since one of mine long since met it's demise and the other is hanging by a thread.

Might want to check your U bolts and make sure they’re reusable. I replaced my U bolts when I did Sumo Springs (which replace the bump stop) because they were rusted enough I didn’t think I could reuse them, and they were original.

Definitely space docking. Only possible connection that'd work.

It's a Ram, give it a few years and I'm sure most of it won't work.

Oh, I wouldn't buy a Dodge. It's one of the only mainstream car brands I've never owned. Nobody in my family buys Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth/Eagle vehicles after Dad bought a dinky little Dodge Colt when I was a toddler and it fell apart in short order. I had a Mitsubishi Mirage when I was a a teenager, but I don't believe Dodge/Chrysler was making them back then.

My family also hates Chrysler products. My dad did briefly own a nice 80's jeep back in the 90's. But it was his hunting rig and he sold it so my sister could have a pony.

Just a junk blanket over that kennel mat, in case he threw up, but he didnt. He mainly laid with his head and paws on the center console.

Passed a cruiser restoration shop in Charlotte leaving Pinky’s after dinner. Some sweet early Gens in there. 40’s, 80’s, 100, 200, you name it.

Thus why I need to win the lottery. I could probably afford it, but I don't want to spend it. I like being able to eat. That's why I am fat. :D
