    It's good
Metal cut off isn’t great in a small shop, so using the poor man band saw. A deep porta band with a custom table would be sweet.

    What part of CA?

And, if you can find a sound trailer (maybe the shell too) for a good price where you are now, and if you could use it to move, consider buying it, because our prices here are often way higher than what you wrote.

What year model is Hulk? I'm considering buying spare LBJ bolts after your horror story at T2S

2002 they were easy to order at home. My point is, Bruce and his go-to mechanical wing men will be in Sedona throughout T2S. This year they'll even have a welder set up. And there will be so many Tundras of all gens... along with his uncanny ability to remember where same size/ thread bolts and other parts are duplicated between gens..., you don't have to bring spares of everything.

Check torq is to spec on everything before you roll out from home, carry basic tools you might need crossing the country to get to camp, and all will be well. Definitely carry any tool that's specific to your truck-- such as for custom wheel lugs, or like that. Trucks get fixed every year. Don't stress guys. This isn't Year 1, and the planning, trail support, and advanced mechanery are well dialed in.

OK so it had the smaller LBJs and thinner bolts. Maybe I shouldn't worry about my 05. Seems all the fuss I've read about so far is the 00-04 models. I could be wrong though

Maybe. I do know, that front corner was making noise I recognized was tied to wheel revolution. But none of us could figure out what was wrong by crawling under and looking. I'll certainly recall and be ready with a quick and sure diagnosis if I hear that sound again. And... I doubt other 1st gen LBJ failures occurred without similar audible warning.

At T2S you'll have a lotta friends with working trucks nearby to make a quick run to Flagstaff for anything we need new. To clarify, the time my LBJ failed wasn't an official T2S but a scaled down trip when the pandemic shut down the actual event. And this fail occured the day before we were all headed home, probably on a weekend. With all the stores running minimal store hours.
    Now we're back to"real" T2S, there's a lot of support fairly close.

Pardon the dirt, it's been misty while i've been doing this, but on the AC, what are these bumpers for? Passenger knees or seat sides? I know its probably a crease point for a crash, but whatcha think?

Safety bumper, in case you close your rear half doors onto a closed front door, in reverse of what you should do.

I just wondered the same thing when I was exploring door rattles.

Oh yeah, and I have those annoying little pests, some people call "children", who can't seem to understand the order to anything.

Next question for the masses; where do i findy wonky sized folding tables? I found a 24"x48" on websteraunt, but where could i find a folding table to fill a 28x52 hole? I'm thinking a 48"x48" that folds over into a 24"x24"hole, or i keep on keeping on. Where to find individual folding legs? I dont have any folding table to steal legs of hinges from.

I used to babysit (nieces/nephews) by planting them in front of a disney movie they've seen for a hundred times. Only way to keep them quite and focused. Does that methodology not work anymore?

Ask him what he would do to build a dog platform in the back seat of the truck.
he looks like he's got the world figured out.

Hahahaha don’t worry, I explained the dangers(I saw that right away too) and that’s kinda why I had him up on the RR ties.
One day he wanted to play with my drill that had a wire wheel cup on it. I’m like be careful with your toes, it will hurt!!! About 20 minutes later he zoomed that wire wheel across his foot and was not happy!
