I really like blackout decals on white paint.

I also really like my grey faux beadlocks on the white truck. I do wonder how much I might like black. I could swap in the spare to see.

my MGM 3rd Gen is doing a Batman theme. I don’t really love the black decals on dark paint nor the all black wheels but I like chrome less.

For desert sand mica, the chrome isn’t as bad. Still working on ditching it. Running el cheapo wheels for now.

maybe I’ll unload my FJ trail wheels. They are just so clean though.

The covers would be ideal, especially if cheaper than the tie downs. I'm simply looking for solutions to seal the bed from letting in rain when I'm camping with my softopper. My truck is missing the pocket stake caps and it's like a gutter straight into the bed. Last time I camped it's poured freezing rain for several hours and I was miserable cold as my blankets got soaked

    negative.

edit: it may 'fit' depending on desperation, but they make shells for each, and not for both. You might try a ridgeline shell?

DC bed is 6'2 (some say 6'3)
AC bed is 6'4 (some say 6'5)
RC bed is significantly bigger than each of the above by a good foot or so, I don't remember the exact number.

@FirstGenVol is currently running a DC cap on his AC. It doesn't quite fit right, he has it aligned on the tailgate side so it sits about 1.5" shy from the cab side of the bed, if memory serves. He had issues with it leaking IIRC, not sure if he fixed that or not. It looks normal from a distance until you see it, then it's tough to un-see.

But Mr. Nuts got the tl'dr. AC is too long for DC. DC is too short for AC. RC is too long for AC or DC.

Love it. "Hypersilver" on white, white on white, I think it all looks good. Light is to light as dark is to dark. Light wheels will work with dark paint, but dark wheels don't work with white paint in my world. Guys with non-white darker, more-saturated paints really have it made for options. Us white truck owners... not so much.

I almost wonder if it could work somehow. Mine leaks but not horribly. I could probably get it to leak even less with more effort.

Yup. Dark trucks really do have color choice privileges. Almost anything works. If anything, silver looks a little gaudy.

Also the DC bed sidewalls are taller than the access cab bed sidewalls. So I'd think you'd get a height mismatch between the cab & cap top.

This is true. It also means the windows probably won't mate up well height-wise either (front window of shell to rear cab window). On a setup like mine that could cause problems at the deal breaker level. Instead of a front shell window, I have a boot that seals the shell opening to the back of the cab, precisely around the rear window. Any offset in height would likely cause the boot to not seal properly against the cab body.

I love how all these people list "extra cab". At least they listed the cab, which is almost a miracle these days. They normally just say "XX (year) Tundra"

I hear those back windows are hard to come by and $$$. If it was free and I was gonna pop some plexiglass in the back, I would go for it.

Probably why he priced it so low. When I had my side window quoted 3 years ago it was around $350-375.
Previous owner installed this diamond plate aluminum so I decided to leave it.

Extra cab is what the first gen tacos called it before the 2nd gen tacos got the AC with the suicide half doors.
