It's why I spend so damn much to live here. Where I'm at we really have it all, I'm in San Diego one weekend per month (only 2 hours drive thanks to Covid). From my house a 1.5 hour drive and I can snowboard in the mountains. An hour drive and I can play in the desert. 30 minute drive and I'm at the beach. Los Angeles is 40 minutes from me, just close enough to enjoy and far enough to keep their people away. o_O

It's hard to be bored here, lots of places to get away.

I'm going to have to steal @Tundra2 gif for a minute.

Stop at idiotzone, asked the young gentleman for 8 gauge power cable. He appeared lost for a few seconds, so I ask
"are you not understanding what I'm saying? Electricity, cable, 8 gauge?"
He replied "Do you mean battery cable?"
    Ok then yes
He replied with a smirk "it's battery cable"

I almost.... Ahhh you already know

To hell with blue & red. Simply put.... The fuckin taxes are insane

I'm originally from Brooklyn NY and I have family in Schenectady and Troy. I think they have mental health issues, they measure snow fall in feet :eek2:

It gets to cold for my taste in the bay area, San Diego is beautiful and the people always treated me nice. I would go there but.... The fuckin taxes.

How much is gas over there right now?

Your description is exactly how I describe it to people when they ask why I would live here. As much as it is expensive its hard to beat.

I am trying desperately to purchase another rental property at the moment, need to generate income if I ever plan on stopping the 5 day time clock. Here in Florida investment property requires 25% down. It would be entirely impossible to do this in Cali, the prices are in the millions and require 50-60% down. No way bro-man

Oh I believe it. A buddy told me it's the only place you can snowboard in the morning and then go to the beach in the afternoon. People talk about the politics but the real problem for me would be the cost of living. I'm so spoiled right now. It would be a complete kick in the nuts going from TN to CA. There is a reason so many people move from CA to places like Texas. They can sell their house in CA and pay cash for a place in another state. And they end up with a NICER house.

Before the bed goes back on today I wanted to add a little more flavor. I have one more sticker en route that will take pride of place.

I never feel like I do a good job with window decals. These have been sitting around for 4 months because of that.

Bed bolt torque is 62 ft lbs?

I’ve ordered some parts via online parts store at my Local Stealer that I’ve never used before. So far the parts prices are very low even beating my old online Toy resource, in many cases, part for part. The real savings is the shipping cost elimination due to close by pick up.

Spoke with parts guy on phone this morning before placing the order to make sure of the expected process and he said Toyota is pushing this new program out to sell their parts. My other usual stealer is High Dolla still so not sure how long before they jump onto the new train.

Just a heads up in case you want to look around at your local. I believe there is a one year warranty on all parts and they are local which makes for easy returns versus shipping back etc.

That's a big part of my retirement plan. Sell the house and a condo we rent out and move elsewhere, or not sell and just rent both out for an income stream on paid off houses.

That's what I'm talking about brother. Tenants are a pain in the ass but I keep reminding myself, it's another job. Try and forget that you own it and accept it as a job. Why? Owners have emotional attachment, we worked hard and made sacrifices to get there and some Yahoo just wrecking shit. That hurts. But I say it's a job, u wreck, u go bye-bye, I fix. No emotions. Just manage the cash flow. We have 2 houses with a total of 9 units. We live in a large 1 bedroom apartment that's like a townhouse. Bedroom is upstairs. Then there's 4 apartments on 1 side of the building.

    I need more

Exactly. My wife gets mad, I just tell them heres what I'll fix and heres what you'll have to pay for if you damaged it. I pretend they're a customer and I'm in their house.

The ride is kinda firm, yet soft if that makes any sense?

With the bed off, and scootin through the yard the ass end would bounce. No weight. With the bed it rides just fine. I was very worried about it jumping with the bed too.

    Pleased.

Want to apologize for no video of bed re-attachment. I had help come in from out of state who requested not to be video-graphed. In 20 years when I take the bed off again I should be able to get one then.
