Or just in the street, on my campus I watched these kids try to move this MASSIVE snow ball on their skate board, hoodlems left it in the center isle of the parking lot…… so I got in front of it and pushed it with my rear bumper out of the way. I earned my snow plow wings!
This was like two days later in the same spot 4CA53725-8715-4727-AC45-C5C0FFB86473.jpg

Like @des2mtn said, maybe I can count on two hands how many times it’s snowed in town, but every year the mountain that’s 30 mins or less will get snow, they even have a ski lift!!!!! Definitely on my bucket list to ski Lemmon!
@AZBoatHauler is a local and probably the same experience.
We are also literally in a bad ass valley, that usually all the peaks get frosted each year, and down south and other near areas get snow every year, nothing crazy, but we will take all the moisture we can get!

the lake that I like to go to has got 8’+ of snow so far this winter! All within 3-4hours away(@RUSTYNUTS)

The early ones said to inspect at the 10 year mark. No instructions beyond that.

I have the BMW SRS reset tool. Used 1x. still cheaper than a dealer visit. No help here
    - but I can say I no longer turn on the ignition in an SRS vehicle with the seats unplugged. D'oh!

Yeah, it's not a huge ski area, but that pic shows a small portion.

Sanity prevails, I’ll give the dealer another shot.

I have this super clean steering wheel but moon mist is super blue and the grey is a bit of a two tone. It matches my katzkin though. Who knew moon mist was so strange. I could see swapping everything to black if it wasn’t so impossible to source b pillars.

I want audio controls badly though so perhaps two tone it is. Or maybe I can start converting to the not-so-blue grey color. Just lots of trim, so much trim.

I had never skied before and years ago my buddy talked me into going up and giving it a shot. Like the dumbass I am, I rented some skis, took the ride up, and tried to head down that main slope, which I now see is a black diamond. After crashing about 12 times, I said fuck it, gathered my skis, walked down, and drank beer while he finished snowboarding.

That’s comparable to the Blue Hills where I learned how to snowboard. One of those small ski areas you can visit after work for cheap money. We have a couple in this area.

It’s all relative. Some of the blacks around here are only challenging when they ice over.

@Jack McCarthy you're triggering all the old memories tonight.

Summer vacation a century ago. Family vacation in the RV. Pull into some cove in Newfoundland. Glacier floating beyond the bay with chunks of it floating in the cove. We waded in, grabbed some small bits. Put them in some container & put it in the freezer. Survived back home and into the house freezer. Lived in there for years. Decade? Eventually just kinda vanished from the container. Iceberg in the freezer!

I was intending to do something similar if they (my work) ever sent me to Thule, Greenland. Thankfully, since I can’t fly anymore that would never happen.

Anybody that I know that’s even thought about moving out of cali, it’s been Idaho, Arizona, or Texas. One went to Oregon
Its less than 2 hours to the closest ski resort. Just over 2 and there are 2 great ones within miles of each other. That’s a prize feature of socal is the surf and ski both at our fingertips. When I was younger, my friends and I went snowboarding in the day, and caught an evening surf session…just to do it. And when they opened one of the resorts for night-skiing, we did it in reverse.
    hey hey hey. Easy now…..

Twas years ago but the kids here rolled a snow ball against the back doors of one building large enough that the maintenance department had to bring down a backhoe to move it.

Saw this guy on sale for 70% off being the floor model and then realized I can only fit a full mattress up the stairway. :frusty:

Here's pics from the listing. Looks like velcro mount which is what I'll probably do temporarily or maybe permanently.

Recently brought a queen mattress to my freshly remodeled upper level, and it required both me and my wife twisting, shoving, and squeezing to fit our mattress through the stairway. #oldhouseproblems
