IDK, read up on it. They say they weren't designed for electric impacts.

So I’ll give credit where it’s due. Y’all have the back window and rear aftermarket floor mats. But still, long bed ridgeline?

Thanks. I know cab size doesn’t matter. Just threw that in there for the tiny cab guys

My dads 88 “xtra cab” always confused me, they had to make that print pretty small to fit in the 5” wide back window

So called “tiny cab” makes for easy parking in the city with the shorter wheelbase.

I had a new cut cut at the dealership yesterday. I wanted one based on the vin, not a copy of my old worn out keys. The first one they cut didn't work. It reluctantly opened my door, but wouldn't turn in the ignition. They cut me a 2nd key on their "$10,000 lazer machine" and that one works. It was overpriced. $10 for a key that doesn't even say Toyota plus $15 to "pull the key code". $27 total with tax.

Did you compare the two to see what the exact difference was in the cut?

That’s cheaper than the $4X.xx my dealer charged for for an ‘oem’ key that didn’t have a Toyota logo either. I was so mad. Just ordered that key blank off scamazon for $12 and will go to a locksmith for $5-8 and have them cut it.

Can’t fit an infant seat in the back unless you’re belly rubbin’ the steering wheel though.

Not really. I did compare it to my old key briefly and didn't notice any difference.

There's a mom joke in here somewhere.

Did you see them wire wheel it after? Maybe they didn't clean it up after cutting it? First time I've heard anyone complain about key from dealership, and also never heard of them not doing an OEM blank. Dealership is where I picked mine up. This was before I knew they'd cut based on VIN.

Good luck. A lot of locksmiths and even hardware stores won't cut unknown blanks. The knockoffs from China (which are plentiful) are sometimes so hard it'll wreck the machine. Here was my experience at a VW dealership a while back. If I didn't know someone at Ace Hardware who knows me personally, I'd have never gotten my dealership-bought blank cut. The 1st guy was refusing me, and my buddy was working and snatched it up and cut it. I even had the dealership receipt!

Just talking to @shifty` who reminded me how absent I’ve been. I made a shop video that if you saw the shop before, explains quite a bit about the last two months. And my wife can’t walk, lol.

It's not what you think. It's about station wagons, and growing up in the 70s which is odd because I relate to all this shit. Dad raised me old skoooo
