So many bits I would have loved (color matched bed, receiver hitch, muffler....)

 

That's what I'd like to end up with. Tell me it has the side curtain off switch & I'll be sad.

 

Depends on your perspective...SBC swaps into underpowered/problemic engined vehicles is not that uncommon, especially a few decades ago with there were so few electronics involved. The SBC does not retain the value, but it enhances the driving experience...and that includes all the old underpowered FJ SBC swaps.

I don't think red/blue forward lights are legal anywhere on a personal vehicle.

If I remember correctly. GM and Toyota were dating for a while in the 90's. Relationship didn't end well and Toyota decided it would overtake GM as the #1 selling brand in America. This is where Toyota went wrong

 

Both wheel well areas are done, and both front shocks installed. Now to finish the rest of the frame.

Heat index here is 85ish. I have been up since 6 am and working since 7 am.

Edit: central time. Not sure how that works out to each peoples time zone.

I'm eyeballing at 2 inch increase, but didn't measure this morning. I wanted to start before it got too hot.

I don't know yet. Haven't test driven yet.
