I mean, this isn't really what I'm going for. I just saw it and thought it was funny so I posted the link.

Although I will say, I think the video kinda highlights the silliness of it. I saw this one on Reddit a while back. One person commented something along the lines of "they do it on purpose so out of shape girls can't get into the truck. it's their way of putting 'no fat chix' stickers on their back window, without the sticker.." (paraphrasing)

Here you go, this is classic FL, from the language on the tailgate to the language on the sign, suuuper classy. Shocked there's no truck nuts here. Plus a bonus article explaining how bad the scourge is:

I know nothing of these “truck sluts” here in the Northeast where the majority of people drive all wheel drive Subies.

    Foreign concept here. haha

I must live in a different world. We call over-the-line stickball here. Never heard it or anything similar to it called that.

Any of you in here want the OEM manifold from my ‘02? Not a thing wrong with it, just won’t be going back so I don’t need to keep it as a spare.

Speak up quick if you want me to activate the Tundra railroad… probably could get it close to you in SoCal or possibly into Arizona.5B32804C-CBED-443B-9765-ADCE2E23D6FD.jpg

mid no takers among the “regulars” on here, I’ll post it on the SoCal Shenanigans thread. It’s free but I don’t want to ship. Passing off to buddy that may get closer to you, I’ll do.

Did you do the Dirty Deeds 05 manifold upgrade here? I’m sort of wondering about other people’s opinion on it.

Yes. Keith installed that and the injectors. So far, so good. I was worried about problems with smog check, mostly the visual check but, after some modification by Bruce to reattach the
“V8 4.7” top plate, it passed today in < 6 minutes.

As for performance gains, it’s not overwhelmingly better *BUT* I probably haven’t tested it in enough varied circumstances. My honey drove it to work and commented that the quick response to pass other vehicles, like for lane changes in impolite traffic congestion, was much improved. Whereas I haven’t done much full throttle driving yet.

Superstition tomorrow, so I hope to get to play with it.

Ducati Monster is a tried and true for middle age America. Plus they’re pretty badass. I guess I should look up and see what a tuono is before any more suggestions tho

    It's good
I've been doing dad duty, fun stuff and also a lot of driving. And the wife had surgery right after the boy went back to school, so I've been doing double time while she is somewhat tied to the bed. She tore her hamstring off her pelvis, so needs a lot of help with stuff.

Wow. What a bunch of whores. How do women like that think that they're doing good in life? Get some self respect! I hope they get older and realize how shitty that behavior was.

I can't find any good articles, but the aprilia tuono 1100 is just fucking nuts. 180hp on a 450lb bike. It puts the monster squarely in its place.

Well, honda makes an equivalent version of those, the cb1000r. Almost every crotch rocket has a naked equivalent, albeit not as rowdy. They have lower pegs, higher handlebars, and the engine is tuned waaaaay different. Funny thing is, they're almost identical through 1/4 mile, it's only after that do the crotch rockets excel.
