You know, I've lived in tornado alley my whole life and have never seen one. But I don't wanna test your theory.

Oh man, an exhaust for that is $1k, then you HAVE TO buy a tuner and tune it. That's another $1k. All for about 10 more hp.

Talked to my bro in law a bit at kid pickup to go to preschool.
He did a ford transit van with electric up front and gas in the back, said it was killer. Intercepted signals and used to drive the electric motor, kicks it off at a certain speed for cruising, much like a custom hybrid, using prius battery pack.
I'm contemplating that as one long term option for the '05 RC. He did an electric diff and then just a matter of the axles to the wheels. Interesting stuff in our future, interesting stuff.

when i lowered and softened my zx6r for houston duty. Pretty much took out all the preload, i kept my bike on an axle stand, and a hurricane blew it over onto the sequoias fender, so the fender flares and hood (from a rooftop whirrley bird) were JY parts. We were outside playing in hurricane ike until a carport cartwheeled down the street. We lost power for a couple hours, then some ahrtard used an electric chainsaw to short the line in the neighborhood, and we were out of power for 12 days. There were 6 neighbors sharing a single 2kw gas generator, cycling fridges.

the '07 zx6r had a wire jumper mod that set it to race mode. 106hp instead of 98hp. 16krpm instead of 14.5krpm. By adding a 60w fuse.

According to the movies, it should be an F5. Why? Because they show a Dodge RAM doing it in the movie Twister and we all know a Tundra can stand up to and beat whatever a Dodge can do.

yup. Got it down to $1800 because it wouldn’t start (expected that would happen with the weather). LOTS of parts for the other one. My fathers interested in the shell to build a drag car

Cargo shorts and flip flops ain't my style. I can't be a busa bro!

I'm to old to ride true sport bikes. I sat on a new zx6r when we were looking for a new bike for the gf. That shit hurt my hips immediately. If the market wasn't so crazy right now I'd probably trade in for a tuono 1100 or an MT 10. Insurance would probably double.

The only reason I'm, like, "Nah, ain't me" is just that -- My first registration on the truck was 2018-2019 time frame, so 'new to me' would be a pretty weird thing to say for (at least) a 2-3 year old truck. That, and the fact I've got a Limited with paint-matched mirrors sorta make it not make sense? :notsure:

PS - this video they have really demonstrates to non-believers what to expect on something like our trucks. But this screencap before the video speaks for itself. This stuff is worth its weight in gold.

You mean 18 and larger? If so, I don't get it, but I don't consider it "big boy", it's more like Florida decided to invade here and bring all its high schoolers with it.

I'll never understand 20s in any case except sport suspension. The typical-white-suburban-high-school-kid-brodozer style of rolling 20s with knobby rubber band tires and a lift (lift + body lift) is something everyone I know laughs at. Except for my cousins, who also roll brodozers, or girls who like the kind of guy who likes rolling a brodozer.

To each his own though. I'm not going to knock it. I've learned in talking to many, there is definitely a "type" for those folks. And some of 'em are really special.

Not sure I can picture it for you. I realize this has MN plates, but this is the typical brodozer you'd see in the SE USA, especially peppered all over FL. Picture the kinda chick that'd see this and think, "hell yeah, that's the kinda man *I* want" and you'll be in the correct ballpark. With FL in particular, you'd probably see one with any number of flags hanging off it, similar to how the ISIS terrorists do in the Middle East.

(Yes, I bash on FL a lot. Yes, I spent half my life in that godless forsaken state so I'm well equipped to judge. It seems to spawn and attract a helluva lot of stupid. Not everyone there, but higher concentration than any other state I've lived in.)
