I don't know if this guy still has the bedbug or not, but I couldn't find the "share" button from Facebook.

My basement ceiling is the 1st level floor. Open rafters for the win!
BUT - outdoor hose spigots are taxed here, so no outdoor spigot. (You just run it to next to an exterior door or window & run the hose through it.)
I don't tell my house I appreciate it enough.

My coworker use to go out after storms looking for trees to clear and cut up for his wood burning stove. Dude had 3 cords of wood every year to burn for the winter.

Nah, it's not accessible. They actually got rid of the 20" rule. I went in some new build houses after rough in and it's just spider webbed every where. I couldn't do that. Looks like shit.

Not to mention that having to do any attic work sucks when the sparkys just drape romex from point a to b. Thru and over trusses, single runs everywhere. It literally becomes like a human sized spider web.

Or worse yet, a tripping hazard. You DO NOT want to be tripping in an attic, at best you may send a foot thru a ceiling, at worst you send half or all of your body thru. Whichever it may be, it's not a good day.

I'm glad they were at least semi-cool about the way my attic was wired. Generally, the wiring in our house is pretty sensible overall. It would drive me nuts if not!

Don't do an exchange just a return. Sometimes different options are crazy money.

Are you asking why you only have 2 options? It’s only free if you drop it off, not in sealed shipping, at a UPS store. This was the solution to stop people returning extremely expensive items for refund, then finding out the customer put something else of similar weight in its place.

Edit:eek:h, damn! Those prices. Yeah, WTF?! I missed that part and should not have weighed in.

I never exchange, but ran a return this morning. Got 1/4" pegboard hooks that ended up being for 1/8" pegboard, so they were flopping around like a hotdog in a hallway.

They gave me 6 return options: Local Whole Foods locker, local Amazon drop-off next to GA Tech campus, USPS store bulk drop-off (no label), UPS (with label) and that last one had extra options of I drop off at store, or they pick up for $7.99.

After a friend got burned on the bulk UPS drop-off, I always do UPS Store (with label) and I drop off. It's free to me, and there's a store a mile down the road, and it's on the way to my kids school in the AM, so I hit that place every time.

RE: Friend who got burned on bulk UPS drop-off, they gave her a label indicating she handed it to them, but the item never made it back to UPS. Possible someone at the store yoinked it, or it got ganked in transit/on arrival. Their online chat didn't care: "That receipt is just a formality" or something, "we refund when the item is scanned in".

If you chose "Exchange", maybe they're cross-billing you? A lot of companies do that. Then they refund the other merch when they receive it.

I used a locker and it was great. They sent a return label via email. I printed it out and taped it onto their packaging that the item came in, and sealed it up. They give you a locker number (for whichever location you chose) and a code to open it. Go there, pop it in, and it locks automatically when you close it. I think that's the best way because only the scamazon driver will ever touch it, so if anything happens, it's on them.

They're just dickies work pants, but they're dark and I wanted lighter.

I just wanna know why they're gonna charge me $400 something to exchange them for the same damn pants.

I thought the price offset was because you were buying other shit. No way would they charge you that for dickies work pants. I'd venture to say whatever you currently have in your cart got thrown into the mix.

I had bad luck with dickies. Bought some overpriced milwaukee pants at HD and kinda liking them, despite spending more than I would have if it had a price on the tag when I tossed it in the cart.

Everyone wants the fully restored badass hot rod collectible. The 69 RS SS in black with the rallye’s on it. Less people want the resto mod, due to individual tastes and the effect on the value as a collectible. Very few people want someone else’s Franken-project.
