No idea if my mirror has play in it because with my tint it's almost useless. Maybe you just need some dark tint!

I like tint but not passed the legal amount here in front which is 25%, +/-2% for manufacturer variation. The rear windows can be limo if you want but I like to be able to see so I usually got 25% all around. Not sure what my truck has now but it's starting to wear on the front windows. So I'll replace it probably this summer. Also back up camera has proven awesome at night

That's the only way I can deal with the big rear row headrests, dark tint, and tiny tundra side mirrors. I'll admit backing up is still harder than it should be. I might need to graft some bigger side mirrors on this beast. It's ridiculous that my ranger has bigger mirrors.

I honestly don't believe they are any brighter than my silverstars and the beam pattern is scattered. High beam output was horrible. And I was blinding other drivers. I did like the color better and it made the truck look more modern.

Interesting. Once re-aimed, I had no issue with blinding other drivers and my highbeams are great. I'm not running OEM housings though, I wonder if that makes a difference.

If I get a chance this weekend I'll take some pics.

I got a flat last weekend and i've been thinking about the tires i'm using. I was running Goodyear Wrangler with kevlar and i've gotten 2 flats with those within 6 months. I just changed to Goodyear Wrangler AT but a bunch of people have been saying that i should get rid of the goodyears. I'm starting to think they're right. i've been thinking of changing to BFGoodrich All Terrains, what do you guys think?

Going to crawl under the truck again today. I’ll be focusing on Rust Reform and Gloss Coat Spraying the backside of front and back bumpers. They have some surface rust. The front bumper is a hard to reach area unless the skid plate is dropped (won’t be dropping it). The back should be easy.

Interestingly, the front bumper backside and brackets look in worse shape than the rear.

What size and what load range are you going with? We have 265/70/17 C ko2s and I really like them, not really loud on the road, aired down they grip great. We’ve got pretty sharp rocks out here and I’ve gotten a few sidewall slashes, but nothing deep enough to worry about. I know the C load range balances a lot easier than the E with bigger Ko2s

You are correct in that they have no bulky tread. They work nicely in sand and snow. Excellent on the street. Your tire problems are normal for someone who does trails on a regular basis. Not sure how you drive off road, but seems like you are aggressive and the tires are taking the blow. A sharp rock will cut most any tire.

I'm not too aggressive, the flats happened on simple trips. the first time we were camping and the roads up to it were all hard gravel and nothing crazy. This last time the tire blew up on the freeway on my way to get a trailer. but maybe i get a little too rowdy on my trips haha, hence why i need bigger tires :muscleflexing:

Aftermarket rear bumper that works with the factory towing package... what it the best option for a 2002?

I guess try another brand then. Maybe Michelin -- they're a little more expensive, but they seem to last better than any other brand.

That's why @Professional Hand Model recommends them: he needs a tire that lasts. He can't be busting-up his knuckles changing tires -- that would mess with his livelihood! Gotta keep those meat hooks soft and supple!:D

If you don't need them right away Discount Tire ran a promotion for $100 off $400 last Feb/March. I picked up a set of 265/60/18 Michelin Defender for the wifes Durango for about $630.
