I've been meaning to get something like that for my cup holders. I do like how huge they are because they hold my 40oz hydroflask, but smaller cups don't stay put especially when offroading.

We need to start a list for anyone who might find a tundra at a junkyard.

Agreed. I bought an entire center console that goes all the way to the dash from a junkyard for $50 bucks. But my old man said he wants to keep the original one in it. Really don't care for the one it has, not high enough.

I'd be willing to swap in a bench. I can lean across and pickup things in the passenger floorboard with the little center console. I think that was harder in the sequoia.

Yeah, I would rather have a bench as well. If I run across one that the foam is in good shape I'll buy it.

The Wire is excellent. As far as “detective/cop” shows, so it’s best if you like those. I liked it more than Sopranos.

Edit: if you’ve watched the most recent season of The Crown, though, The Wire could take extra suspension of disbelief to get into one of the characters….

Turns out I don’t like detective/cop shows. Nothing really unique about them IMO so I bowed out after 30 minutes of watching.

But ... if you have a coilover, why the hell wouldn't you just spin down a turn or so to compensate, instead of using a shim? I think that's where the idiocy comes in.

If it were a choice of veggie in bed or corpse in a coffin, yeah I'd rather be dead too. But say, a broken arm, I'll take a hospital. Tons of less than vegetating injuries that hospitals are good for.
Makes ya feel alive doesn't it?

@txagg I have the same center console as you and there are inserts in both of my cupholders that I'm certain are original factory stuff. They mold perfectly to the console, even the notch-out for cup handles. I remove them for huge cups. Just solid plastic, no foam, snug fitting.

*you people* with these center consoles, is each holder the same size or one big and one small, or both the same size but the inserts have different thickness to make one or the other smaller?
My bench seat has the fold down arm rest thingy, no inserts that I know of, and one is bigger than the other. One holds a bee……soda, perfect and the other holds a hydro perfect

Just saw @Mr.bee was on it. guess its good to read thru all posts before responding eh? my bad. $60-$70? F-that. I see an open market for cupholder solutions. I don't see it well, or even what it is, but it's there. That's all i've got

"And when I'm done sucking down those greaseball burgers
I'm gonna wipe my mouth with the American flag
And then I'm gonna toss the styrofoam containers right out the side
And there ain't a goddamn thing anybody can do about it
You know why? Because we've got the bomb, that's why
Two words: nuclear fucking weapons, okay?
Russia, Germany, Romania, they can have all the democracy they want
They can have a big democracy cakewalk
Right through the middle of Tiananmen Square
And it won't make a lick of difference
Because we've got the bombs, okay?"

Mine are both huge. Never found any inserts that fit. Always fun running Hulk at high speed with one hand, because the other is trying to contain some heavy water bottle.

Well. Yes, except there’s not a good mounting point for those of us with this console. Because the console extends only a bit forward of the seats.
