    Nope, not flawed:
The police find the seller’s underwear at the crime scene, extract DNA (probably not, ‘cause it’s dude sweat underwear; if it’s dude extracurricular underwear, then maybe), and enter it in a DNA database.

At some point there’s a comparison to a genealogy website and there’s a DNA link found between seller’s DNA and Hilda Romano (or you make up your own fun name). The cops will know the degree of separation; for example: Hilda is the aunt of the person whose DNA was on the underwear.

So they ask Hilda if she has a nephew… and she talks about her favourite nephews, the millionaire who made his fortune investing while working for UPS; and her other favourite nephew Mo, who lives in Arizona and doesn’t keep in touch but he’s so loving she knows he could never murder someone. The cops investigate both and find that both have alibis for the time frame of the murders.

Just having underwear at the crime scene is not enough. Which is why it could be a good investment, for some in certain circumstances, to buy days-worn underwear…. BUT. If you pay $400 for them, that could be really memorable, and get an entire truck forum paying attention to the transaction.

@MEWaters I'm currently going on about a 4 or 5 day body funk in the same drawers. There's plenty of pictures of me in the who's who thread. Show em to your co-worker. Let me know what kind of a check I can expect.
