A buddy of mine shoved 1 of those engines in a early 80's mustang. I really don't remember much about that project but the motor caught my attention. Yamaha builds some really nice engines, a shame they don't make a complete vehicle for us. They always get hampered by the manufacturers, like that Volvo SUV v8

They should be adjustable. My INNO bars are only rated for like 120# and I wouldn’t feel comfortable with a rtt on them. But I see it all the time with factory racks which are rated similarly.

anyone know - if you put a front mount hitch on a 1st gen, do you remove the tow hooks?

Trying to come up with an answer to why my truck has no front tie-down tow hooks. i can see it did at some point.

Or it could have had a bull bar at one point. The brackets for those use the same mounting points.

    Woke up early.
No sleepy meds the last two days.

Had a lil breakfast, got dressed, went outside, and had just laid down under the truck. Heard some thunder. Decided to check the radar. Large Sack of rain headed this way. Forecast shows rain the next 3 days.

Decided to batten down the hatches, take it easy, amd see what the rain will do.

That's one of the projects I'd love to do. I had an 05 corolla xrs and the head in it was made by Yamaha as well. That sucker would scream. 8500 rpm red line. Vvtl-i. Awesome little car. Then in 07 toyota took that 1.8 out and put in a slower 2.4 from the scion tc in.

That's a pretty rare color combo. My 95 had a celly in it too. 92s are kinda like the 04 tundra. It's a 2ng gen, but has 1st gen stuff still.

Mz. PHM cooked up some vegan fried tacos. They are Potato and Bean Jalapeño with Local Peach Salsa. Trying to build my carbon credits back up for running bad o2 Sensors all these years.

This Double X Beer is good too because its a Lager.

For real? You almost made me want to be a vegan!!
Is the peach salsa locally made, or locally sourced peaches? And is it hot or mainly sweet?
    Those look really good!

She made the Salsa from our Island Peaches which are in Harvest right now. The Jalapeño gave it a slight Spicey kick. Yin against the Sweet Peach Yang. :D

I am not fully Vegan. I still eat meat. Usually, after about a week or two, I start getting angry for a steak or burger.:rofl:

That sounds tasty! My old lady just made a big batch of salsa, she sells it to the gringos at her work, they love it. But it’s just traditional chunky salsa; I’m the tester of hotness levels. The “hot” was way hotter than I lead on to believe, and she made extra hot as well haha!
My mom has her first harvest from her peach tree this year, my son loves to go pick them and eat them with her

Sounds tasty! I like the hot stuff. Helps keep illness away. We had some Birds Eye Peppers that knocked my socks off a few weeks ago. Top 5 Lifetime Hotness Level for me.

These Jalapeños around here are hit or miss on the hot scale. Sometimes you’ll get a good hot batch, but usually they are just flavorful versus hot.

The Die Hard Vegans say ‘anything without a brain’ is good. We do the diet for preventative health reasons, but still eat cheese and meats on occasion. My palette has been opened to many things I’d never considered before like Cashew Cheese (insane!) and Plant Based (from Peas) Meat. Some other items have texture issues and are taken a pass, but at least I tried!

2005 Sequoia owner here. 200k on the clock

I was heavily considering buying a brand new Tundra and would have made the move if it weren't for greedy sales managers. Thank god I didn't.

I rag on my cars and the Sequoia got a bit clunky and loose but that engine/tranny purred without a hiccup or vibration...

I decided to fix everything. Have spent $6000 in upgrades/repairs the last two months... So happy I did, this thing rides like brand new.

Much happier that $6000 made my 200k mile truck run like new vs buying a $55,000.00 Tundra cash or being stuck with a $700-$800 a month payment.

    These 1st gens are G.O.A.T.

I ask this sometimes because its hard to tell. That Cashew Cheese is top notch. I made a date with it one night with a bottle of nice cab.

I’ll ask/let my mom and sister know about this, they have(I do to probably) strange genetic issues that make them allergic to various things; way to deep for me to grasp. But have had to alter their diet to deal with said issues.
