Dirvers side front gas tank cross member.

    20200620_111303.jpg
Drivers side frame by the static hanger for leaf.

Thats... just horrible. Top of frame looks the same as what you can see in the pics.

    Found a hole...

Cross member for tail of transmission mount. I did not measure but if I had to guess its 8-10 mm wide.
    20200620_113406.jpg
The middle of the truck appears to me to be worse than the rear.

Maybe I should have inquired about frame recall, but thats okay that I did not. Live, and learn.

Got a small turkey baster full of mineral spirits, and squirted it into frame hole to see if it was completely through or not.

I watched the mineral spirits run out from the inside of the frame. :(

Maybe one day I'll find a good deal on a used frame, or on a new frame and take you up on your offer.

My hard lines weren't changed when the frame was. Result was my rusty leaking fuel line rusted to the brake line, so ended up having fuel & brake lines changed out, ...having only recently had p/s lines changed out. Sigh. but try to get a look see how your lines are in that rusty area - they may be fused to the frame at this point....doesn't appear so though.

Eh. We do so many frame swaps here and have the tools, it’s usually only a 2 day project.

Cut it out, weld in some plate. Paint outside and get Eastwood’s internal frame coating for the inside

Hand Yoga’d the Katana II’s in place. I like the simple design with no external driver box. The new bulbs feel not as hot as the older solid body design when operating. The newer fins design works. Cooling Fans seem quieter, too.

Looks good, but I wonder if your cameras light exposure settings were different for new picture. The parking lights appear MUCH brighter to me in "new" picture.

How was the "dim" bulb improved?

Yes, I think you are correct. This is a newer camera, as well. In person the new light output looks about the same as the old when they were new. I’ll do some driving tonight maybe to give it a test.

    @empty_lord

Managed to finagle my arm inside the frame up to the elbow. There really is not a lot of metal in that area. Removed an alarming amount of scale from inside.
    20200620_150137.jpg

Frame feels VERY THIN in this location.
