Anyone else get amazed by the drive by members we get? "My 21 year old radiator is leaking. What should I do". They haven't done ANY preventative maintenance.

It really shows just how well these trucks were made to start with(aside from the frames).

My favorite drive by members are the ones with shitty frames that want to start a class action suit. Good luck with that.

I’m finding it ironic that so far, as I close out this third 1000 mile drive, the only legit problem I’ve had was with my 2016.

My Son in law bought a 1930s house in OKC that had been renovated and they left a test cap in his sewer pipe that intermittently obstructed. Idiot flippers.

Yep, jackhammer pierced concrete around 10:15. Hole was finished by the time I ran to grab lunch at 11:30, but not dug. We knew what was up by 1pm, quick run to big orange for a new 3" backwater valve, concrete, and a box cover (we're installing an access cover, direct to the valve, a "just in case" for the future) and the concrete is setting up as I type this ... the last skim was just finished before I hopped on. Basically this ate up a full day. They're taking labor off because I helped, but I'll still be out more than a grand on this shit.

These guys are alright, I've known them for 8-10 years now. They know I know what I'm doing and I won't get in the way and usually have spare-everything on-hand, and any oddball tools, which saves them from store runs. And I always buy lunch.

I didn't think the big ones worked for the early first gens. I was looking at those options on Solo's website.

I had a 1997 Honda Civic EX with a 127hp 1.6 VTEC. You could totally feel the change at 5200rpm or so. It was real!! Yo

I’m looking forward to flooring this thing now that the suspension is proven. Once I get the bed empty. New gears have some bite when downshifting.

Stuck in bumper to bumper on the 5, so I tested out 4hi and 4lo. All working well. Not ready to call it a success but so far 90% of the drive in the bag and no unexpected challenges at all. Pretty impressive for a truck that’s been ignored for 10 years with light towing and then sat for 1.5 years getting new parts.

REM’d. But not doing crazy anyway. Still 1000m is a lot.

and I definitely jinxed myself. Hahahah. F’ing airbag. Dunno why it took so long to whine about this.

I’m guessing the integration relay might have a different number than before and I need to clear the code via TS? Not sure though. Maybe I need to reseat that connector but it’s in pretty tight.
