Nawl, he ain't been around on the other forum neither. Doesn't make any sense why he would post in the 2nd gens threads, nor not fuck with us at all. We were a big reason why he came back around. I mean leif erikson or whoever he claimed to be as @Punk1974 or someshit made sense, and was "in-character."

Maybe a new leaf turning over? I assume this was an IP match or something, or a PM that got posted somewhere. That user was saying they'd been PM'ing with a skid plate vendor? Maybe something got shared privately and filtered up? Maybe Mr. Owl knows.

Me either. I can’t figure out why he’d come back and not check into the best gen subforum. I guess there’s so few regulars, it’d be easy to spot

Farther afield , I read the one right above it. Gotta admit, I am more than a little impressed with whoever came up with the customized poem and costume meme for the missing ShreveportTSS:

Man, there is just no shortage of drama around here.

Interesting that account popped up not many hours after I made my PHM-alias-banned replies above. Meanwhile, TurdFerguson doesn't login since August 11th (3mos), but within 24 (12?) hours of PHM's alias getting banned, suddenly a device on the same home network as TurdFerguson creates an account poking at me?

I'd be shocked if he'd make a tactical error like that, but ...

My body is toast. Cut some with the chainsaw and then started to split more with the maul. Made it about and hour and the younger kid demanded attention plus I have nothing. Finger sliced up, back muscles all knotted.

less than halfway done with the pile too. Not much progress from this morning.

Cheating is not allowed. Whining is probably bad form but infinitely preferable.

True story. My wife’s brother’s gf of 5 years told me “work smarter, not harder” when I was loading hay for a haul. I proceeded to leaver her at a rest stop. She was quite unhappy about that. But it was a smart move. Months later she bailed on the relationship with my bro in law. He tells me I did the right thing leaving her.

he did flag me down out of the trailer window and made me pull over to go back for her. So not like she got kidnapped or anything.

This was around 5am. I was totally focused on not f’ing up a shift in the 10 speed Freightliner.

My dad went out and got one of the pneumatic splitters two years ago. Loves it. Uses the hell out of it.

The first time I read this, I thought you left her behind because she was irritating. The second time I read it, I decided you meant you were that focused, and her her being irritating was an unrelated fact.

Ok, let’s skip the scary pictures; I can do without a log splitter.

    Ok, some clarification.

    1. I’m tired as F. So not coherent. Did a run workout then split more logs. Toast. Apologies.
    2. The gf lived on the farm with my bro in law for 5 years. She grew up with horses. She is badass with all sorts of driving things. She moved that tractor better than I would know to do. She got the hay loaded in half the time. I was doing it the dumb way.
    3. I left her by total accident. I thought the two of them were still asleep in the back. The bro in law was in the trailer and the gf in the potty. At 5am. At a packed rest stop in central Cali. With no phone.
    4. It was prescient. It was foreshadowing. Literally months later she bails on a 5 year relationship. At the time my bro in law was pissed at me. Not for hauling his ass in the trailer, that was nbd, but for leaving his gf alone at the rest stop.
    5. It’s one of the better stories of my horse hauling. I doubt I’ll ever do anything quite that dumb. But it wasn’t malicious. Just me being focused on maximum driving. I ran to pee and ran back to the truck and took off. Didn’t check passengers or horses. Just had to pee.
    6. Funny though, right? Nobody got hurt.

Just reach in there from behind and feel the bottom of the diff to see if it’s wet.
