Google was giving me particularly bad directions one day & I "okay google expressed my strong feelings on the matter".
Google said "that's not very nice" & turned off vocal commands.

google & siri deserve each other.
LOL - I had a girlfriend's mother say that to us once - "you two deserve each other"

I prefer a map, but I was rushing & had to use blind faith & the goo really screwed me that day. I was not a happy fellow.

It's super easy and takes maybe an hour. You don't even need special tools if you have a crows foot.

I rented my steering wheel puller from Autozone. I had no issues. I think I accidentally got the non-metric one but it still worked.

    So lemme get this straight.
    • Basically my truck, but no leather, no wood, no power seat, no steering controls, no Limited pkg.
    • Random spraypainted spots on frame, wheel wells, and rear axle housing/gearbox to hide rust (note overspray @slip yoke).
    • Gash across the glovebox and into the dash, cupholder foams ripped to shit (it's only $20 to fix).
    • Bed dinged up, and coated with oxidized bedliner or flat spraypaint.
    • "Bilstein Toytec adjustable lift" actually just 5100s up front to me, on stock springs, on 4th or 5th notch even though you're not supposed to on AC/4WD.
    • The original stock 4600s w/black spray painted 2" blocks out back, stock sway links up front
    • TRD wheels on 285/70R17 KO2s.
    • Only 2k less miles than mine
    • And they want $30k.
I know this bullshit dealership almost always has bloated pricing, but $30k when they spent $750 on an improperly installed lift, where they put in a diff drop but no extended sway links, went cheap af out back w/blocks, and the truck will probably drive like shit, dropped $3k on wheels and tires, and they want $30k on something they probably took on trade-in for $10k? That's a nice $15k profit for someone.

This is funny, because I was going to call myself a googoo muck last night, but ended up calling myself a prickly gnat of a human instead. But I did go re-listen to this because it's kinda the right time of the year for it.

These guys always have the craziest videos. The trilogy for Midnight City, Reunion and Wait was pretty wild, seems a link to Stranger Things, but these were released prior.

But it looks to be a 1GT, yep. RCLB, with maybe EU plates, but I'm skeptical where because they're lacking the EU flag on the side. I'd think France based on the directors, definitely not UK, they're LHD vehicles. Plates almost look Taiwanese to me, or similar APAC styling. Edit: Latter was right. It was shot in Kyiv, UA.

So what’s the best home mechanic steering wheel puller? So I can add it to my cart which currently has anti sieze recommended by Hayrider and a Fiskars maul recommended by you dudes before.

    OTC p/n 7403 - Steering Wheel / Flywheel / Pulley Puller

It runs about $40-55 depending on where you get it. I bought it b/c it said "Made in America" but the casting marks on the crowfoot are identical to the $20 Chinese-made kits (I ordered both, returned the Chinese kit because the hardware on the OTC kit looked better). YMMV. Go with your heart or wallet on that one.

All these guys who have chimed in to say they “rented” a puller from an auto parts store, please clarify: I paid a deposit to borrow one, and when I returned the tool, got my full deposit back. I thought this is a common (though not commonly known) hack everywhere.

That's what I assume they mean by "rented." I did the same thing with the ball joint press when I did the V6, and crackie. Paid a deposit in case I damaged/didn't return the tool, and got my full deposit back upon return.

If I were to be speaking in a conversation in person or via text I would say in both contexts that I "rented" the tool. I don't know what the right word is for that. Semantics maybe?

No, i still havent sourced a 6v battery, but i've changed the oil, oiled the cylinders, and used the boiling water trick to clean the radiator, but havent drained or cleaned the block yet. Water pump rope seals held up on the first couple starts. Havent sourced that stuff yet either. Also need to clean and put some sort of liner in the fuel tank.

meant to have it all done by now, but i didnt.

Definately gonna go meet the folks see if i can get some tips or parts cheap.
