Life lessons brother. Some we learn easily, some really f*!? Suk. Most of us know this. Growth doesn't come in years lived, only in lessons learned.
I try to remind myself of this every so often cause I have a tendency to hate people

Just a few minutes of work. Tried to wire wheel the studs but couldn't get anything on them to do a good enough job. Rusty metal primer will have to do.

Thats the last step. Don't want it to rust completely away tail lights first.

Those sanding sponges will fit in there and do a good job, but tend to tear on the sharp edges. Use 60 grit sponge. Also, I have a couple of those small wire brushes in stainless and brass depending on the job. Stainless would work well in that spot.

Hitch is back on. I will need to get longer bolts. Currently I have no lock wahsers on them, but I can remedy that one bolt at a time. The hard part of getting it squared up, and mounted is done. Will let it cure overnight before rear grease rub.

I think the bed, and rear frame is as good as its going to get. Planning on putting bed back on tomorrow.

Anyone have a link to these wire harness clips? Mine are still okay, but would like to replace with new.

Couple from the deep archives. This is back when @bmf4069 was busting my balls for cleaning my fuses off with sandpaper and then putting electrical grease on them.

I did the same thing in the kick panel fuse box before the forum days. Never got around to engine bay.

Nice. I did both panels. The corrosion seemed worse on the inside kick panel fuses. Can’t hurt anything to clean them up. Any small amount of corrosion can do funk things. Sounds silly, but true. Not sure how much this helps, but it can’t hurt. The electric grease has cutters in it. I just used a small dab on each prong.

That was my thinking back in the day. I need to investigate again, and see how the interior box held up. That will probably be one of my last projects.

@Casper421 you're the only person I've seen here running cross bars on the roof. Are they unique to double cabs or adjustable?

I'm thinking about trying what this guy did on his Tacoma. I'd rather mount a RTT there than my old camper shell where it might crack.

Just curious with y’all.. I can get a good deal on 285/70/17 tires... do they fit the 1st gens with a lift like mine? (Dumb question, but I’m too busy to search this second)

I can't remember you front suspension setup but that's the size I run with ICON C/O's. I rub slightly in reverse but I never did any trimming.

Hmm. I’ve got the camburgs. Rub at the back is fixable with more caster. I might grab these or just wait and text fit some before I commit

I'm sure you can fit them. I forgot to add that I also had to remove my mud flaps. I'm way over spec at 2.7 caster.

2.7 is what I run. I might push it to 3 if I have too. I like having my mudflaps. Lol

I drink a crap ton of water at work, so when I get home I’m tired of water flavor, but would rather get the benefits of beer over soda, but am mainly thirsty, so like you, Id be pretty shitty pretty quickly

Well, I kinda have a problem. I don't drink on work days because 1 turns into 20 really quick, then I call in. So I save it all for the weekend then put down 15-20 a night.

We got the water mat out for the kids. We have a high jump too. I just kinda wish my uncle put the helicopter pad on the other side so we could jump off it.

Nice. I keep telling the misses whenever she is ready we can sell everything and go buy a couple acres in the mountains. It would have to have a lake or something running through, that is my 1 requirement

That would be nice. Hell, I'd just like to have an acre with a decent garage.
