My uncle had the same issue, usually it’s the defrost clock; easily replaced, his was the element, still somewhat easy, but unless it’s a old school fridge with simple controls(the boards are usually what poops the bed) it’s not really worth it.

there are (or at least were) vented & non-vented caps. Possible you have the wrong style?
If the venting is off in the fuel system, you'd certainly be throwing codes.

 

I was about to say, i've never seen cleaned rental equipment.

my own ones I beat back and welded on some metal to keep them straight. But they’re still not ideal.

 

No, locking caps aren’t meant to go on as tightly as the OEM cap, that I know. Definitely non-vented.

I do plan to have the 150k, 7 year extended warranty or whatever is the longest. The 8x16 display or whatever it’s size is not something I look forward to replacing out of pocket. I’ll probably still have the Tundra though.
