I like spindoctor Allen wrenches, they are extra long. Then 3/8 sockets for the bigger stuff where clearance won’t be an issue.

@Tundra2 , I’m so far behind that I’m hoping someone else like you can laugh at me when I make an obvious f up down the road because I wasn’t paying attention.

Yeah this one is a baby, 3 nubs or arms are starting to form, supposedly they only start to grow a arm after about 100 years old.
It’s exciting because the house was built in the 50s, so I’m not sure if it was transplanted or left and built around.

We need more interesting emoticons to express ourselves here.

I wonder how these forums which look so similar have completely different smilies.

Mod/ admin add them manually. I used to add shit to the forums my old company ran all the time. You can pretty much just drop a url/upload from the massive amount available online.

True this. It helps if you can find one, though, to share with the mods. Years ago, I suggested to Bob that we have an emoticon “making it rain” cash. A cartoon version of this, since that’s what this forum leads to.

Ultimately, none of us could find one. So we settled for this: :spending:

Which, to be fair, better illustrates the reality for most on here.

Sure, but around here, they call em 'E-bikes' so they can continue to ride them on the streets with no registration or insurance. You don't even need a drivers license.

Not just a dirt bike, but a "street legal" dirt bike.

Big difference as far as freedom to ride.

Glad you shared this because you reminded me I already have a set.

I forgot I bought a Kobalt set to do suspension work on the RAV4 last year. They have been buried in my tool chest.

I think I'll still order a set of those T handle units shared above. Those look useful too.

More tools is always a plus! It's the one thing I absolutely hoard, but virtually never get rid of, unless I'm replacing it.

Well that’s a little ambiguous. Most states don’t have laws regulating them more than a typical bicycle.

Eh, they actually aren't street legal but it is a bit murky. I've heard certain cities in SoCal are starting to crack down because of people being stupid on them and because... California.

That said, I don't think it's going to be an issue where I live. Most cops don't know what they are. I see kids driving go carts, electric scooters, and actual dirt bikes in my neighborhood.

I think people are going to assume I'm either on a small motorcycle or some sort of ebike. I passed a few cars yesterday that didn't even give me a second glance.

Just be careful, i understand it has knobbies, so traction is limited, and probably high quality wheels, but when i hot rodded my motorized beach cruiser, i could see the wheels flex through high speed corners. But i didnt have instant torque, so i was playing the game of momentum.

My buddy bought an 80’s dolphin for a family camper. It looks rough but not as bad in person. Currently in the interior remodel stage but after that is buttoned up for his wife and girls, focus turns to the drivetrain. Has a worn 20R with a 5 speed that was swapped in by the PO. First thought is to swap in a 3.4(3 sitting in his shop rtg) or a 4.0, keep the 5 speed and sas it with 4wd. He has a 96 4Runner as a parts rig. Gonna be a fun project that will put a 4x4 sprinter to shame.

There is a "street legal" version with lights, reflectors, plate holder. Max speed is 30mph.
