Yeah it’s no where near the wait times for these runs. They do suggest booking in advance because the full river runs, and double runs leave so Early in the morning. Plus they welcome walks ins.

There is something about me that just doesn't trust anyone but the guide in the boat to pull their own weight so I have never wanted to go rafting. And yes, I also look both ways when crossing a one way street.

I do too, but only because I've seen too many idiots in cars and idiots on bikes going the wrong way down a one-way street.

Therefore, since I know idiots do it, if I don't look both ways and I get hit ... who's the idiot now?

:rofl:We always make sure to bring our own crew. That way we don’t end up with somebody in the boat that lily dips.

We own 2uz's slow is an understatement.

But now that chatter is split betwixt 2 forums, and some folks taking a break to deal with other aspects of their life while the weathers nice...

Aint had a poll lately. Introverts vs extroverts. Go.

But, like, we just made it to lunch time on the west coast.

Speaking of which, I think I hear some TJ's tamales calling my name ....

Weather was stupid out this morning. Low 60s in the morning, Cali weather. No more A/C while this keeps up! Fall's coming.

Where the hell were the polls being done, anyway? I mean shit, I don't mind taking up the torch here or there if it's doing something.

do it. Put it in first gen and specify if its 1gt specific, if its general inqurey, post it in first gen, so we can rattle off the best jokes before they move it to off topic and the wannabe's can chime in.

There needs to be 1-2 extroverts in a crew, because if everyone is introverted, the work is quiet, and kinda dull. Someone has to row the boat, but as soon as introverts realize how small the circle is, they open up.

I usually put them in the open section. If it was a little too spicy they moved it to the green room.

I was wanting to do a poll about what gen people own. Post a link in all the sections. Just to get a census of the forum and see why people bought what they bought. Leave it open indefinitely and allow multiple votes for the multi-gen owners.

Back from my latest expedition, over a week living out of the truck again. Nothing major broken that I can tell, other than my ABS module and air compressor are loose in the engine bay and need to be welded to the fender. EBC front brakes did a good job and feel good. ABS is working fine and I'm no longer getting phantom activation. I noticed a positive improvement going from 650lb springs to 700lb springs, less body roll but the overall ride didn't firm up too much which is what I was scared of.

Damn, full photojournalist! Nice Brent! I didn't know you went to #700, almost a no brainer to me after using 650 and 700 on a DC loaded. I may try #750 even without that transfer case.

My pops told me he wishes he had more pictures of the cool stuff he did when he was my age, I don't want to make that mistake. But at the same time, I don't want to only have my nose in a camera the whole time.

As for springs, yes, I swapped to 700lbs when I got my shocks rebuilt and upgraded. Some preload fiddling needs to be done. I had previously used a 700lb coil on a 2.0 shock and liked the on-road feel, but it was jarring especially at low speeds offroad. I road on that setup for three years? I don't have that same feeling with how the Kings are valved.

So, we all know used car prices are insane, but damn. Isn't this the dealership that had a $30k 1st gen?

That's one of the rarest ones too. But, I have 2 rare ones already. I'd still buy that if it wasn't an insane price.

It lifts the front of the seat about an inch. Doesn't move it forward or backwards. Helps with comfort especially on longer drives.

Rear might not be necessary depending on your preference. I don't have rear jackers. But I do have electronic seats. Personally my knees and lower back feel a lot better on longer drives with just the front jackers.

The rear jackers aren't much more than spacers and longer bolts.
