That front/side/exo bumper is something to behold.

    Also, I like lady trucks.

It exists in the rest of the world. Americans need automatic brakes and vibrating steering wheels.

Ever drive a car with manual brakes and steering? You really get a workout doing it.

I have, but it was an old jeep, so, half the weight of a land barge.
I've had people get in my titan and complain about having to crank the windows.

My dad’s 77 C10 had manual steering. None of this one palm 360 wheel spinning. You had to hand over hand full grip to turn corners, then you let the wheel spin through your fingers as it self centered. It did have 4 wheel drums but they were vacuum boost assisted. 3 on the tree, no AC (save the flip around 40mph AC vent windows). Dog dish hubcaps, long bed with a camper shell. The old drug rug seat covers. 305ci small block that was eerily silent at idle and so smooth you didn’t know it was running.

I forgot they still made those. Guess you can tell them if you get in an accident and end up in a lake under water, they can still get out using the crank windows.

Chances are that will backfire and they’ll just not want to ride with you in the future. haha

Manual steering is especially fun when you need to parallel park.

All new Nissan vehicles come without power steering. Or maybe they are just doing it wrong?

If that’s true, I can only picture a stripped down Sentra not having the power steering option.

    Mad Max, here we come.

Several. My '68 C10 was the last one, manual steering, brakes, and 3 on the tree. I eventually upgraded to power steering & brakes, but ...

Manual steering + column shift even more so.

Im sure they all have the hardware, but the tuning of all newer Nissans power steering is on the extremely firm side for low speed maneuvering. Feels ok on the highway, but so heavy when trying to park. A real pain in parking garages, or pulling through any drive through scenario when your trying to lower the window, get your wallet out and make a sharp turn. Practically two handed steering effort.

My titan isnt too bad. No screens or cameras, so i grab the pass headrest and one hand the wheel. The tundra is far too numb. I mean its a 4x4, so im not carving corners, but i'd appreciate a little extra resistance. Maybe fresh suspension & steering bits would help. Are there steering stabilizer shocks for ifs?

I haven’t seen any steering stabilizer shocks for our trucks. That would be nice though.

They're unnecessary for 99% of rack and pinion setups, that's why you haven't seen any.

    @alb1k

When you pull the stock front shocks is the droop limiter the UBJ?

wonder if anyone going with upper uniball has tried flipping & swapping the stock uca's.

I'm gonna say the ball joints are the limiter with the sway bar off, although I haven't really looked at it in that way, because with shocks on, I know they are not.

You ever drive an automobile that has manual drum brakes on all axles and an unsynchronized manual transmission with a vacuum operated two speed rear end??? At least the steering wheel has a large diameter for more leverage and you can use the throttle to increase the vacuum to shift the rear.

If you could even get it bolted up. I think the balljoint would pop out soon as you set it on the ground.
Anyone know of any reason that 2nd gen rear shocks wouldn't work for our trucks? I know they're different lengths. In other words, will 2nd gen rear shocks work on a 1st gen thats been lifted (either with an AAL or blocks or whatever)? anyone?
