I barely even remember derivatives. When the rona hit I quit going to school and lost all my math. If I go back I'm gonna have to start at college algebra again.

I'd actually like to see how much their sales numbers have gone up in the last 12-18ish months since I found out you can get almost anything no-tax/free-ship from them and began shamelessly plugging the hell out of them. I have no doubt they've seen a significant bump in business.

It's bittersweet for me. Before I started plugging them b/c I wanted to share the gem I'd found, service was fast, seamless, friendly. I've definitely seen a change in that, but I don't know if it's just the supply chain issues everyone seems to be having right now, or if it's burnout from more shipping orders swamping in, something else, or a little of all the above.

There may be other dealerships in AL that are doing the no-tax deal. And you should know, Serra has another dealership that does online parts with the same level of discount and no-tax based in Birmingham if you wanted to try another dealership in their lineup. I think Cool Springs is back at it again, and Roman provided some of the best f'n service I'd ever experienced with a dealership, with a smidge more discount than Serra if an xtra customer svc bump would rub you right..

    I genuinely laughed at this.

My guess is that business has increased a lot and they either can't or won't hire more people to help in the parts department. I've had some issues with them too but their communication is usually on point. I'll keep using them for now.

The next time they have a sale I hope someone mentions it again so we don't miss it.

Hah, check engine light back on in the ‘05 and I’m betting another small leak code. At least I’m past smog and have plates and registration.

I wonder if that EV conversion might be possible before the next smog is due.

Can't stop staring at that sexy piece of equipment. The Snapon tool cabinet, not the MR2 engine. Although it's nice too.

@Siebler I figure you could probably appreciate this. Sometimes you go out hunting for them, sometimes they come to you.

Just noticed this when I walked out to get the mail. 95% sure it's a pearl oyster, 1/2" under this spot there's a 30" wide Hackberry stump I cut down 4ish years ago and sodded over two seasons ago, probably reinforces that. No visible stem, so pretty sure it's not an elm.

Have been busy battling for a house this week, looks like I missed a lot. Ministry of truth department has been working overtime. It's funny watching the select few train loaders cheer it on. Good reminder there is a whole entire real world outside of here.
