Homemade atv, right? Crushed him when it rolled backwards?

dad looked it up, my curiosity quit when they turned the ambulance lights off. Machines 101: always have an exit strategy.

I think I’ve told you the story of jumping off my bicycle because some guy was driving on the sidewalk wrong direction of travel(I guess I’m lucky for that so I saw him coming)

Soooo glad me and pre baby momma bear had 5points on when she was driving and came around a corner way fast and slammed on the brakes! We like sideways endoed 2x and I’m pretty sure we landed on my, the passenger, side. It snapped a 6” pine tree clean at dirt level.
Tipped it over and drove back to camp; super sore the next week!

A buddy of mine was riding in ocotillo wells (our local desert & offroad park) a few years ago with his family. Him, the wife, and his 2 chitren, all on dirt bikes. He was a bit ahead of them, so he stopped to let them catch up. As he turned to look back, he saw the underbelly of a sXs. The driver had just blind launched over a hill and landed right on top of him. Long list of broken bones and tore off his right arm. He never lost consciousness. Granted, the dude is somewhat of a beast, but they had to induce him into a coma. The doctors were able to save and reattach his arm, but told him not to expect much from it. They also told him he may never walk again. Several years of physical therapy later, he’s walking and has full use of his arm. He’s not what he used to be on a bike, but he’s ridin, and he cherishes every single day of his life.
    Just a relevant feel-good story I thought I’d share.

    Hahaha yeah good point!

Unfortunately, the old girl is down for two weeks at least getting a new wrap. the old wrap is apparently taking a really long time to get off. So I'm with out a tundra at the moment, unless you think a 4x4 diesel excursion can make it? LOL JK!

But you're not a Turd Gen owner. You're going to be a Third Gen owner, and that's different. Turd Gen is the loving label given to the 2.5 Gens by the 1GTs.

You all that miss PHM....I get it. I liked him too. He actually got 4 logged warnings before getting the boot. I gave him a few other "chances" and I know other staff did as well. We liked him...Period. However, we can't allow people to come in and repetitively break the rules and go unpunished.

    Screen Shot 2022-05-18 at 9.04.29 AM.jpg

PHM is not wanted on this site period. He had his many chances and continues to make fake accounts.

I called PHM's actions stupid (and they were). I didn't realize so many of you are so delicate. So I will let you all think about something for a minute. If you want us to enforce the COC to a tee (this section only of course) you all are about to get it. We also can shut down the lunchtable thread for a while too. Do it all the time on TW. Your call.

If you have something to say or you disagree with, start a "chat with the staff" thread and we can talk about it. This type of discussion will not be allowed on the open forum and the reason two members have a short vacation to think about it.

Yeah we should chat, and everything in life is good, just tired of adulting! only sad news was my father passed away in March, it was an accident at home. So very sudden. Been dealing with a lot on that front. Ill post some stuff on my personal thread to keep stuff out of here. But anyway glad to be back, been mentally unavailable for a while due to that and some other stuff.

    How are you?
