have you checked craigslist and FB marketplace for an old tombstone? They can usually be had for pretty cheap, and then you have it for next time.

After another thread about oil pressure, @noahrexion posed an interesting question: who actually has an oil pressure guage, not the dummy guage?

    So I bought this:

    Screenshot_20200611-130233_Chrome.jpg

I'm just gonna bent the tab and mount it under the dash more than likely. So how do you hook up an OP and WT guage?

Oh, and if all goes tits up, I'm blaming you Noah. Sorry.

Thoughts on what I should use to paint my sliders? White Knuckle recomends something that will provide a little traction on the step portion. Bed liner a bad idea? Thought about calling Line-X.

edit- called Line-X. They want $400. That's insane.

Bed Liner. I’d put a good prime on all the slider and then top coat it with a finish coat. Tape off the top tube step portion where your feet land and spray it.

I sprayed my runners and the grip is adequate. Nothing too harsh, but keeps the wet feet from slipping.

Not sure how much texture they recommend but I plan to do a textured powder coat. Same as my front bumper.

In just under a weeks time since reviewing these Morimoto Bi-LED 2.0 they reduced their warranty from 5 years to 18 months AND removed their DOT Certs.

They removed their ‘No one loves Kayne more than Kanye’ comments, too.

    Before I go......
I use to buy & sell high end home audio as a hobby and I sold a pair of speakers to a guy in Kentucky (don't remember what part). I loaded them up in my car and drove them to his house, spent about 7-8 hours setting them up and dialing in his system. Simple, hard working people. They were genuinely good people and we had a blast. Drinking and listening to music.
Florida is flat as hell so it was nice driving through Kentucky

I'm back. Yup it was a short trip into the turd gen. Why? Those guys are discussing the difficulty of finding 93 octane fuel. That was enough for me, I'll stay over here with my $1.79 89

If I ever upgrade my system, and you happen to be within the "area" I would gladly reach out to you. Feed you some sort of din-din, and "drank".

Drinking is for people who live in town.

I never wander past the 2nd gen section. Lots of good info in there that may pertain to moms sequioa. Its semi-relavent.

If there is vehicle fixing to do here at the house, I'm the only one who does a proper job.

Edit: Even if I am a complete Dumb-ass while doing it.

    The Dirty T ( ^_^)_且

Why the fuck would you use 93 for a 5.7, it doesn't need it. I just got back from towing my 7,000+ travel trailer up long grades with my 5.7 3rd Gen in 100+ temps and never a ping or problem.

Something my 4.7 could never do. :crapstorm:

We've got "yuppy" shine, and the real deal hidden around here somehere. Lol

Blue agave tequila, and lots of beer.

Tequila makes me do things I would regret if I could remember.

My 4.7 pulls like a dream with 7,000lbs (the 2 times I’ve done it so far). Actually prefer using it over the Families f350 with the 7.3 turbo diesel unless I’m needing the extra capacity

Shame they used a rear-bath. Hope the guys don't make a lot of those high speed turns - that thing has a wood (body) frame IIRC.
@empty_lord would use a better turbo, maybe some twins from a Supra donor.

I used to do home theater installs back in the day. Like, before hdmi times. When flat screens were just coming out and HD was new and 60 fps didn't really exist. Mostly mid-line stuff, yamaha, paradigm, klipsch. Some people got the good stuff, B&W, Martin Logan. I just redid all my stuff. Yamaha rx-a780, Polk speakers all around, and a 65" TCL 4k tv.

I've pulled 8500+lbs with my Tundra a couple times. As long as it's flat, it does great up until 50MPH. Above that it gets real scary real quick without a WD hitch.
