Here's the plan, newfound friend, man.
    1. Wire wheel.
    2. Ospho.
    3. Cure time
    4. Wire wheel again to remove the "ospho slag."
    5. Prep for POR
    6. POR-15, and cure time.
    7. Grease rub.
    8. Pb blast.
    9. Reassemble.
The reason I'm wire wheeling again (#4) is because during my bumper support testing anywhere there was "Ospho slag" the paint flaked/chipped off exposing bare metal. Ng²

I learned during that how NOT to do the frame so I do NOT waste my time. If the paint chips, and starts to rust without me knowing it? Well, whats the point?

This just happens to be my first rodeo, and I hope I NEVER have to go into this much detail on THIS trucks frame ever again.

I realize the way I'm choosing to do this is incredibly time consuming, but I can do this.

As @Professional Hand Model told you... rust never sleeps.

@FrenchToasty I finally found the right canopy today to use during my curetime waits incase of rain during the night/day.

10X10 collapsible canopy I picked up from rural king. It was in the clearance section. I figured, "eh, what the hell? Maybe I can get a few days out of it at least."

At the end of the day I will put the canopy up, and then collapse the legs down to "hunker" the top as close to the truck as possible.
In the morning time, extend legs, and move out of the way allowing all natural sunlight in.

I have driven up & down quite a few of the states on the eastern half of our country and there is picturesque and beautiful places all over. You find yourself parked on the side of the road with a cup of coffee just admiring. Unfortunately, I am not welcome in many (majority) of these places.

That my friend is damn shame

I've set up a lot of those things and even the cheap ones will last awhile but you need to anchor the legs and then anchor the 4 corners at the top.

Even a light gust can blow them around and if you only anchor the legs the whole frame twists and breaks the plastic pivots on the frame.

You may be right in some cases, but you also may be running into a trap based from your educational standpoint you described above in your own words. Your color has nothing to do with anything so stop bringing it up. Having been, a few times, to one of those Islands you refer to in your other post I can share some personal stories. One of my friends/neighbors family fled the other Island you refer when he was little. Please do not let your skin color hold you back or allow it to have a negative effect on America as its being reported these days.

People are all stirred up right now. Focus on your truck.

1 of my favorite personal stories.
Working for AT&T some years ago, had a call to assist another tech because customer could not understand him due to his accent. Arrive at location and it was straight out of movie. Trailer home in the sticks, lifted F250 with smoke stack and confederate flag flying high.
2 hours later. Me and the redneck with his wife were sitting at dining room table having lunch together, laughing and telling stories. That was memorable

My color never stops me, I have enjoyed traveling America and meeting some great people. I am looking forward to hitting the road again some day

The smaller the better IMO. Driving my 21' is so much less tiring at the end of the day than my 27' was. Add an awning so you can have '2 rooms' for when you need some elbow room from each other & small works well. Easier parking, cheaper to run, faster to clean, ....
