I really hope this becomes a recurring inside joke.

@Sirfive could I sell you on a Rough Country lift, perhaps?

Yep, I called earlier and they're packing a bunch right now, just waiting on them to get the tracking. I know it's a small operation so not stressing, just don't want to put on my stock one if I can help it since it's so trashed.

I know it's good for mold & I suppose for grease & oil removal. Never thought of it for removing rust. Got me literally scratching my head (or is that the summer haircut?).

I think he said he used it for cleaning off plastic injection molds, pretty sure it’s has some POWA! I think it’s less messy than media(sand) blasting, but I could be talking out of my butt on that part….. poop mouth……

@Tundra2 , did you get one of your rigs up and running? Were you able to salvage the tent of pain? Looked like a little duck tape and a couple dozen zip ties would get it sorted. Of course that’s true of everything. Might be the fix for the virus too

I seriously love your little cypress trees!!!!
I had 2-3 at my old rental and was super pissed they didn’t get watered and died; I then had to cut them down. 2 of them were easily 30-40 footers

Yup, the exact reason I put them here is that they will grow tall enough to shade this wall which faces due east with a lot of concrete where the picture was taken from. Plus they look so regal. lol I also put in an oak (joan lionetti) which is tailored for the desert and a chinese elm. Hoping to put a lot of shade on the east side of the house.

Do you have a decent west coverage, I always assumed that was more important in the desert?
I LOVE cypress tress because I always see Kestrels Effin around in or near them. I think kestrels are one of the coolest underrated birds of prey!!! They have a very distinct chirp!

The east wall is a single vertical wall, exposed with a lot of reflected heat from the concrete driveway. Plus inside the house on that side is a large stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings, so that side of the house gets noticeably warmer.
The west side is broken up by a garage, a mature mesquite at the southwest side, and no reflected heat. I did plant juniper (similar to cypress), another oak, and a really cool looking red pistache. The pistache is on the south side of the house where it is visible when approaching. It should provide deep shade and have great fall foliage colors.
