I’ve also got to get some felt so I can make liners for these so shit doesn’t rattle around

Happy I can potentially help you out for a change.

So here's a shot from mine directly from the truck. Note where OEM felt is.

Base part number as you see is 58833-0c040, but you won't find it in the system without the two-digit color code suffix. Like, 58833-0c040-e0 is OAK, 58833-0c040-b0 is DK CHARCOAL (I believe that's my color), 58833-0c040-b1 is DK GREY. I can't nail down which of your two is correct, b0 or b1.

LMK if you need more pics.

dark grey is what we've got. then medium grey is the door panels and stuff. Dark grey is color code 12. which if you look at your vin tag it should say XX12 (XX changes depending on fabirc, leather, etc)

unfortunately it appears that parts NLA. i'll have to check at work tomorrow if any dealers have one laying around

i keep hunting junkyards but NO one has a dark grey interior truck

Ok, feeling pretty confident in some terrible ideas. Done some research but found lots of opinions, but fewer facts.

@empty_lord any forethought as to why this will end in disaster?
2019 taco front springs are 700lbs. The ones ive got have the ‘stick’ for an extra 3” or so. They’re the trd
Am i correct in assuming aftermarket bj uppers can handle the angles at 3” taller, or is that uniball territory?
Are AC ?springtowers? Strong enough for extra spring and weight?

    1A961F67-DB4B-4514-90B5-ECAC944AA070.jpg

its time for BJ’s and ive saved alot of money by not buying a bumper yet, i can throw money at something thats necessary.

in plan ‘b’s pic whats the bent steering link looking thing?

Because it's an insert, this is one of those cases where you could get away with going a darker color and it still looks natural. Many cars do solid black for inserts. You may consider charcoal for this, but ... again, it'd probably be a JY pull

Seems to me a 3" longer shocks and 700# springs are going to push you pretty high. More than 3". If @Darkness is right about the ratio of 1.6X @ the shock, 3" longer body is almost 5" of lift before the heavier springs. I don't see how those work but maybe I'm missing something. If you are doing bumper and other weight later, a coilover is pretty nice. I've adjusted mine a dozen times for weight and stuff. I like Fox and King based on some experience with both, and what others have to say. Big money though...

Yea, they’re really only 2.5 inches longer, and if i build a hitch bumper i might have to hang a motorcycle off the front end. On the sxs, i saw how they reininforced the control arm mounts to compensate for portals, so i figure that and maybe a pin could reinforce the cam bolts.
Daddy raised a cheap bastard, i always will be. I can keep the hoard for a rainy day, or i can sell some valuables and do it right. Not both.

I like the res adjusters on the Fox shocks - but reservoirs are really not needed. I have non-res Kings and even King tells me I'm never going to overheat my oil with 4" of stroke and non-race application. The super adjustable ones are cool for changing the ride, just not necessary.

F necessary. Even my 2013 Prius wasn’t necessary. I’d have been fine with my bicycle.

I’ve got the freetime to turn a few screws for launches. But you get it. A little overkill.

@Sirfive my magic 8 ball says the taco setup won't work, but if you have it on hand it wouldn't hurt to try a mockup and see where you land. If they are 2.5" longer overall, I think its a bad idea, especially if they run 700lbs coils (which would surprise me, O would think in the 550lbs range).

I wonder if i can get some measurement and get qa1 to build me a long arm setup on the cheap-ish. I too was surprised at the ridgeline rates, but assumed maybe the arms have more leverage. No clue, and i dont really have a good way to measure.
