    Must be nice having AC!

I've got solid motor mounts, subframe bushings, and subframe connectors. EVERYTHING vibrates and rattles.

Only matters for their spindles. Their lift spindles or their super beefy 4wd spindles don't have abs. Their lower arms would still be fine.

If I hadn't bought new OEM LCAs a year and a half ago I'd be in, but I'll probably be rocking these until I can commit to LT.

I realize you guys don't know exactly the life I'm about because you generally see the Tundra-related things I'm into.
But I can tell you this will never fly for me. Maybe a week while stuff ships. Maybe.
My 911 isn't low at all. It's at a functional height.
    My M3 was decently low.
Everything before that was low to real low. The 'going way TF too far' life is the life for me. The Tundra has been an exercise in restraint and patience for me. My instinct is to long travel it with the SOLO 18" kit, put in a linked D60 rear end, gears, headers, a super-blower, bob the bed, tub the front, full armor and bumpers, and 37s/40s. I hate stock vehicles. OEM+ is boring. My projects all spiral eventually into 'way too far' and that's where I'm happiest.
In my brain, a static mkIV dragging its subframe and rockers down the freeway is sensible and reasonably modified.

I'm not likely to buy the 'stock' LCAs. But if I keep the truck, I have other plans and I'm not keen to redo the dash.

That's a sharp GTI, and thats the color I wanted. I missed that color by 2 hours.

I sometimes wish I went with that Koni cup kit, but I went with the more expensive Koni kit because my car had the shitty Raceland Ultimo kit, so I had no reference on how it would sit with the cup kit. Seeing the stance of yours is about identical to mine I could have saved $400. The only upside is mine have adjustable dampening but I honestly never use it. Rears I set close to max stuff, fronts are close to max stiff now as well (was closer to soft before I put in motor mounts).

This was ultimately my friend Aaron growing up. For example, his '77 Corolla SR5 hatch literally peeled reflectors off the road if he switched lanes. Hurt your ass to drive in it. Looked awesome but was totally impractical. If a vehicle is so low it's impossible to get the camber even remotely close to correct, I usually think it looks awesome, I just wouldn't want to drive it. Except the clearly obnoxious neg-camber, it looks super-derpy to me.

I really did love that thing, it was super fun to drive. Hated how sloppy the seats felt though. It was loaded.

I was just flipping through pics from my eBay ad when I sold it a few years ago. I couldn't remember how many miles it had on it. Zooming in on this one, looks like the odo was right around 172.5k, it was still going plenty strong. That's what one thing about them, the damn drivetrains for the NA vehicles are pretty bulletproof. Interior plastic bits start breaking down long before the metal exterior parts and door/window motors. Then the engine bay plastic bits. But the NA engines will run forever.

I never liked any of the 1.8T MKIV or A4 I drove. I prefer the way the VR6 got up and went.

I'm not a fan of the demon-camber. Looks cartoonish and I like to drive my cars, no matter how impractical they are. Imagine getting caught in the rain in a car with 8* of camber. yikes.

My R would hit reflectors on the freeway. Good times.

Ive had trucks and motorcycles since my nova.
But heres the auto-x civic si a buddy and i built. Ran pretty good for no cage. Rode pretty rough because coilovers, but it could hike the inside rear wheel when he had his soft tires on it.

Thats how a lot of vr6 guys feel. Thats okay, 1.8ts never lose. :D

Honestly the 1.8T does drive weird if you have a tune. Mine the power band feels like a rubber band. It's either not there or its really there. If you're on it all the time its fun but trying to drive at lower speeds can get annoying, gear selection is everything to control the boost from saying "you can go faster! Wanna go faster? Let's go faster, c'mon! I'm gonna spike!" I find myself cruising at higher rpm and lower gears pretty often. When you have gotten used to it though it becomes very fun.

The grey evo in the civic pic was his, but the fancy flappy paddle slushbox broke.

    i had dibs on this:
    FDFD081C-DAE4-4FF7-829E-C37D8EAA5D3C.jpg
But he broke the turbo, then broke a bigger turbo, and i think he got more than i was willing to give. I’d prefer an early 2dr neon, anyway.

Waiting on hold for the last hour from the IRS taxpayer assistance center about my 2017 refund not received which I filed before the 3 year deadline last April.

It's not even the real IRS which directs you to a phone number to make an appointment which is always too busy and asks you to call back later. This is not going well.

This wasn’t letting me air down. The ARB quick connect must have a sneaky built in check valve. When I swapped in a standard QC I was able to get it to do everything perfectly. Balanced pressures exactly the same at all 4 corners and on the mounted gauge. Pretty precise filling - while the compressor is running, if I go 4 pounds higher than I want then close the supply valve it isolates the tires and gives me the actual pressure I was aiming for.

The "Looked awesome" was about my buddy's '77 Corolla SR5. Whatever that car is with the wild camber does not look awesome. It looks cartoonish, like it should be in Cars, the movie.

I finally got word from an IRS rep they put me in contact with that I have to do the following since the refund was denied being filed too late according to them:

    1. Write a letter to the "Submission Processing Center" (same address as the return I filed)
    2. Inform them I submitted my return in a timely manner and expect a refund
    3. Provide proof (copy of certified receipt with tracking info from post office) that it was mailed on time

I asked if they send anything to notify me if I will not be receiving my refund. He stated they send nothing!

    Wonderful.

Last but not least; expect a written reply in 30 days which could be much longer.

Yeah the letter we got after the one saying they received it, said that it could take 90 days to resolve the issue.
What’s super frustrating is our tax person is the one that missed a signature but claims no responsibility. Maybe one day I’ll have the cash for gears!!!
