Of course. There's two of them really, they go side by side. Pretty strange configuration but Honda does strange things.

OK, so last year I learned how to ride and got my ninja. Not long after, my gf decided to follow suit and gets a bike. So this year I got a new bike. Gf is going to look at(buy) this tomorrow:

Just when I thought winter was over, we got an inch of snow and the roads were once again salted to look like the snow it melted. Now I need to wait for a rainy day and get a couple of washes this week in the meantime to keep it at bay.

I can’t think of why you wouldn’t. I don’t have Solo… haven’t seen specs on what will be different vs. OEM, but I can’t fit 35’s with TC + Kings LT… using OEM.

    Do not buy OME shocks.
I have them on my truck and hate them. Buy Billys or Kings or Fox or ADS or pretty much anything but OMEs.

350 in your 2600lb car is a far cry from in our 4400lb trucks. That's all I was saying. I'm all about that power/weight lifestyle. My 911 will get under 2200lbs this summer. I have the parts to swap on, I just need the time.

This is the real question we all need answered.
GDI. I need a cheap commuter so I can justify keeping the truck and driving it much less frequently.

Cheap and 1.8T leads to hate. 30+ mpg and fun to drive though when they run right.

Yeah, but a cheap 1.8t gti allows more funds for 911 and LT/SAS 1GT shenanigans.

The problem is that if I buy a mkIV, it's going to end up like this. (sans exhaust tip)

Tell me more. I had them on my old 01 and liked them, but it gave me way too much lift (with the 2885 coils) so I only had them on for about 1,000 miles though.

The lower ball joint mount is 1 inch forward so it moves the tire way from the cab. They say 33's no problem, 35's with modifications.

    • Recommended 33″ (35″ tire can fit, but needs modification)

Solo's LT kit is advertised as being able to fit a 35" tire, maybe they move the lower uniball on the Solo LT arm too.

Fight that urge. Start liking the OEM+ style where you won't spend thousands on it and you'll have a fun daily.

When I drive over small speed bumps without slowing, the fronts reach full extension rapidly and make a terrible noise.
They're valved for a much heavier truck than mine. If you're armored and bumpered and running really heavy tires, they may not be so bad. On my truck, they're more harsh than my very tightly sprung 911.

No crazy camber. Just crazy low.
Notched front frame, lifted engine mounts, coilovers, rolled fenders, full send.

A mid travel setup won't lift the tire as high up. You could "fit 35s" but you won't be able to stuff them. We all know you really drive your truck so that won't work, you'd need to tub it.

I think a tub is still needed, just not as aggressive as it would be with stock lowers.

Maybe depends what version they are referencing. They have a 14" travel and an 18" travel, either one they like to say use the lift spindles for rwd and thats an entirely different beast. Easiest way to stuff a 35 is with their lift spindle (@alb1k don't read this!) But then you lose abs and that may cause other problems with an 05/06 because I think they use wheel speed for the speedo.

Their 18" travel 4wd kit is such a monster. I've seen a first gen in person running it with 35s, his truck was very cut up though. Basically a $3k beater with 20k in suspension and no regards for how it looks.

I considered the lifted motor mounts when I was scraping road reflectors but I lifted the car instead. I didn't like the idea of more leverage on the bolts.

By the way I turned on my AC last weekend for the first time since putting the hard mounts in, holy crap it was bouncing my steering wheel haha. The things we do.

Yes, I'm referring to the 14" travel kit, it says it fits 35" tires and the spindles are optional on that one I think. But like you said, does it really fit 35's when stuffed?

I got an email back from solo regarding 35 fitment with their stock length lowers:

As for fitting 35's you will need to do a little trimming on the fender flares and inner plastic if your still running that. Have a good day.

I’m 88.63% sure I’ll buy a set today or tomorrow! Bobby said he can get a set of bigger ball joint lca’s to me in 2 weeks, right before T2S.

I forgot about the 06 using wheel speed sensors for speedo. Fuck.

I lifted the motor mounts in my turbo R32. Not a problem. I only had the 1/2" lift because AWD. But if I get a GTI, I'll lift it all the way to the hood.

    Sage advice ^^

Meh, just throw a Koni sport kit on it. That's what I did w/mine. Inexpensive, improved handling, great stance, made for a really fun drive with stick. I kinda miss it, but that VR6 ate gas and I swear I had the VAG-COM hooked up several times a year debugging issues, fixing one of the many plastic or rubber engine parts that'd cracked, it was always something.
